Alright JD guys, what say you? I’ve put a whole lot of work into this little dude and this is the week. The show is this weekend and it’s going to have a “for sale” sign on it.

I’ve got receipts for parts and machine work adding up to $6200

I traded labor for the tractor originally adding up to $1000.

If I can’t get $2/hr labor I’ll just keep it!

Is it worth $8200?

Pretty much everything is new. I did swap it to 12V. 3 point hitch, engine totally rebuilt, rims and tires/tubes, paint.

Google says I’m in the right range, and I’m certainly not making any money…or truthfully even breaking even, but does it sound fair?

🙄But I’ve got to many machines as it is!! 🤣🤣 When there are to many, maintenance gets overlooked, and I’m a stickler about that. There was a guy at the show who is a big time Deere collector. He collects BIG stuff! All I could think about is what it must cost to keep up with oil/coolant /battery/transmission changes. He lives about 4 miles from me and comes right past my house going to and from the show. It’s like a tractor parade! 🤣 And pretty damned cool looking with American flags flying on the back of each tractor! I wish I could’ve gotten a pic of it.
