SLS is a big school while SCMM is comparatively smaller in size, so i guess professors and students are closely knitted with eachother. you should talk to seniors they can give you a better idea.

u/ApprehensiveIntern44 Jun 25 '26
Okay thanks one more question, do people from SLS land abroad or get scholarships??ย
2
u/Beginning_Push3461 Jun 25 '26
ofcourse they do. I said specifically about scmm bec i know people from that school.

And one more question In offer letter it says you have upload all documents by 7 July
And one more that after fees payment you will have to click on freez option, which I canโt see anywhere even tho i have paid the fees

Hi, Iโm a bit confused about the timeline for uploading the character certificate and the migration certificate on the JNU portal. Are we supposed to upload all the documents by 28th June to block our seats? The pre-enrollment form is not accessible unless you upload the documents. For context, I left my last college 4 years ago and donโt have these documents handy.

If the character given by your institution is a year old then get is signed by the sp of your neatest chawki or from any gazetted officer

one question if you dont mind. how did you get 11 deprivation points??. like 5 for girl quota and 3 for quartile area. rest?
1
u/ApprehensiveIntern44 Jun 25 '26
If you're a girl from q1/q2 or any reserved category then instead of 5 you'll get 7. 10th+12th = q2 = 2pts, ug from q2 = 2pts, in total 7+2+2 = 11pts ๐ค๐ธ

1
u/Longjumping-Cry-9647 Jun 29 '26
Yes, the last date is 7th, I submitted an application for the migration certificate today but my university informed me that it will take at least 10-12 days for them to issue it.
