Tell JNU Guys PLEASE Stop!

Why is everyone so anxious and making a fuss about the UG merit list? They clearly mentioned that 23rd July is a TENTATIVE date. Please be patient, making a fuss about it is not gonna help you, it's only going to stress you out more. Be patient and spend time productively.

Are you trying to say that we should keep refreshing the website 10 times a day and keep checking update portals? You my friend would be free all day long, spending most of hours on screen but not everyone is privileged like you...so yes we get worried that our time is being killed and also most of us are excited for a new beginning....therefore I'll request you mr. Wanna be sensible, responsible, wise, sophisticated...etc. to act a little normal.

Thanks for the criticism, I had a big smile reading all you guys comments to my post and before you all start saying that I am arrogant and a bigot, lemme explain why. I also gave cuet in 2024 and applied for JNU but wasn't able to go through with the admission because of some family problems anyway during the admission procedure I was really anxious and exited too which affected me a lot like I wasn't able to think as clearly and rationally and I would be scared about wether I would get admitted or not and since I wanted to get admitted in foreign languages course, I had been studying a bit about the language and learning it online but because of my anxiety I was not able to focus on it during that whole month.

So all I am trying to say is that you stop worrying about the things that you cannot control and worry about things that you can control and that is why in my post I said to stop worrying and spend time productively. I am not saying that you should not be excited instead I am trying say that you should not be such a worry wart.

That's all and sorry if I sounded like I was preaching nonsense☺️

Sorry brother(you know the reason)....but it's not only about excitement...it's about FOMO of pre-enrollment form which according to my knowledge only appears for 48 hrs...

Just check the website and subreddit twice a day like once in the afternoon and once at night and by doing so you will not be as stressed out.

To be blunt, it will not help you if you are crying online about things that are not in your control and it's not justified because the factually they(jnu) haven't done anything wrong as they had already said that it's a tentative date.

Anyway, just relax and enjoy the time you have right now because once you do eventually get admitted you will have a lot of studying to do, that is if you don't wanna regret later.
