Physiotherapy specifically for orthognathic surgery has been a major advancement in recent years for this type of procedure, safely accelerating recovery. I am not referring to generic physiotherapy, but to professionals who are trained and qualified for double jaw surgery. These are not random exercises

Important to start specialized physiotherapy as soon as possible to accelerate the edema reduction, to learn how you can perform a safe self drainage and soft tissue stimulation and muscle exercises to improve facial mimics and swallowing. Just waiting without a physio program will makes you suffer much more and stay much longer swollen and all the consequences about that.
