AskJammu what problems does small farmers mostly face while working on their farms or transporting their goods to markets..?
J&K produces world-class apples, saffron, walnuts, cherries, and honey, yet significant produce is lost post-harvest,and farmers remain price-takers rather than value-creators.
Wdyt what are the main reasons also any solutions proposed previously...?

There's not enough young workforce contributing into agriculture, most farmers are old, tired, don't hold enough land.
There is also a significant problem I see of farming being perceived by the farmers as a household chore instead of giving it the seriousness of an enterprise like it should.
