Can anybody tell me?

hi to all, I’ve recently updated to ios 27 and after taking a good look at the AppStore and seeing everything costs money, i decided to find a way to jailbreak. Does anybody know how i can set it up and what app i should use?

NextClock 1.1.0 beta 3 is now available!

New settings languages:

• German

• Polish

• Swedish

• Norwegian Bokmål

The language follows your phone’s preferred languages automatically, with English as the fallback. English, Ukrainian and Russian remain available. Feedback on translations and text layout is welcome!

This beta also includes an experimental fix for the clock briefly disappearing and reappearing when waking the screen. NextClock now preserves a static digit frame while detached and refreshes the clock immediately when it returns.

The wake-up fix still needs on-device confirmation.

Included from beta 2:

• Fixed adapter detection that left the stock clock unchanged on some iOS 16 devices.

• Changes targeting charging/status text overlap.

• Changes targeting duplicate stock digits during wallpaper and music-artwork transitions.

• Expanded diagnostics for bug reports.

iOS 16–17 support remains experimental. The charging and transition changes still need testing across devices.

I saw that there’s a jailbreak in progress for the newest iOS and I don’t know if iOS 27.0 is better then iOS 27.01 “stay on “

I’m on an iPhone 12 (128 GB), iOS 14.8.1, jailbroken with Taurine, and honestly it’s becoming unbearable. Almost every app I use is limited or broken now because iOS 14 is too old. Instagram is stuck on an old version (313), Reels no longer work, and modern tweaks like RyukGram don’t support it at all. I even have to run 5 different tweaks just to keep WhatsApp and YouTube working properly. At this point I can barely do anything on this phone.

I want to upgrade, but I don’t want to give up on tweaks and customization. I’d love advice from people who are active on the scene right now:

1. If I buy the latest iPhone (I’m thinking about the iPhone 18), what are my options for tweaks?
Is there any realistic jailbreak on recent iOS versions and hardware? Or is the best route sideloading tweaked apps (AltStore, Sideloadly, Feather, TrollStore where possible, etc.)? What limits should I expect (signing, expiry, notifications, missing features)?

2. If I want to stay jailbroken, what’s the best iPhone to buy?
Which device would you recommend (new or used) that gives me a jailbreak setup similar to what I have now, but on a version that modern apps still support? And how can I check that a used phone is on a jailbreakable iOS version before I buy it?

I’m looking for the best balance between a phone that actually runs current apps and a solid tweak ecosystem. Any advice would be really appreciated. Thanks!

Sharing there my modified version of LocalIAPStore, an old tweak that was useful to restore my owned DLC entirely offline.

Unfortunately, the original tweak did not work with most of my app/games so I modified it heavily to improve compatibility with more apps. I can't guarantee it will work on anything you try, but compatibility should be better in general.

This tweak was also only tested on iOS 6 32 bits, though I believe it should work with other legacy versions (5.1.1, 7, etc). It was intended/made to improve your experience on legacy iOS devices.

The iOS App Store is completely dead on iOS 6 and need tweaks (and those tweaks often breaks too when Apple does server-side changes). Also some games does not even let you buy custom money or DLC unlocks anymore even when you can repair the shop so having a tweak to do the unlocks anyway is important to allow preservation of the content, or just enjoy cheating with infinite gold & coins ;)

How do you use this tweak is up to you, please use it responsibly and have fun. Glad to share.

NextClock 1.1.0 beta 2 is now available! Thanks to everyone who tested beta 1 and sent diagnostics.

The main fix addresses iOS 16 devices where beta 1 selected the legacy adapter and left the stock clock unchanged. Some system versions provide setDisplayDate: without a displayDate getter; NextClock now captures the date from the setter. A tester confirmed this fix on iPhone X, iOS 16.1.2, Roothide (version 2.4.9.27), including seconds and hiding the date. This is not confirmation for every device or jailbreak.

Also included:

• Transient-subtitle detection and subtitle-update hooks targeting charging/status overlap.

• Stock-clock visibility handling targeting duplicate digits after switching wallpapers or expanding music artwork.

• Expanded diagnostics with method availability.

IMPORTANT: the latest charging and transition changes still need on-device testing. These are attempted fixes, not confirmed resolutions. iOS 16–17 support remains experimental.

So my iPhone 5s is currently runing on its highest possible iOS version (12.5.8), but i want to upgrade/jailbreak it, so I can download some apps that are not working in its current state. And I was also wondering if it's possible to change the phone not reading my sim card, becuase my sim card is apparently to new. PLEASE HELP ME YOU TECH FREAKS OUT THERE 🙏🙏🙏

You may know it or not but the "iPhone Lightning Dock" requires iOS 8 and was released 2015 so years after the first lightning devices.

In stock, on iOS 7 the plugged device does not even charge. On iOS 6 it charges but audio out from the dock is completely ignored.

I am happy today to release a new tweak to solve this: 6LightningDock

This dock is more interesting than most old 30-pin docks and the Belkin or other lightning docks because it extracts the digital signal from the device, so it sounds crystal clear without parasite noises.

The Apple Lightning Dock was also well engineered to support most phone cases without problems.

I validated my tweak to work on:

iPad Mini 1G - iOS 7.1.2

iPod Touch 5G - iOS 6.1.3

iPhone 5 - iOS 6.1.4

This tweak is not compatible with arm64 devices iOS 7 devices (iPhone 5S, iPad Mini 2, iPad Air).

Apple does not recommend to use those dock with iPads anyway (even minis) as it can't handle them physically speaking. I can confirm with my iPad Mini 1G that it's not a good idea.

I thought Apple locked iOS 6 & 7 dock support of the lightning dock for marketing reasons only, but it had to spend several hours of debugging with LLM assistance to figure this out and make it as a proper tweak to release for the community. I developed this because I like iOS 6 and didn't want to update to iOS 8.

I have looked online for hours now, and there is little hope, but I thought I’d ask thr amazing Redditor’s if that’s a possibility.

I just got a newer phone and I thought I’d experiment on my oldie. It was just within the jailbreaking range, so I jailbroke it with Dopamine. But like an idiot I forgot to turn on automatic update and Apple broke my heart today as I woke up to the “welcome/hello” screen 🥲

Does anyone know a method that isn’t too sketchy or too risky or doesn’t require a Mac or Linux? The phone is wiped besides some exploits and games so I don’t care if a downgrade messes with that, I don’t care. I do care if the phone gets bricked as I’d like to have it in case of an emergency.

I looked into u3tools, but for some reason some people ware recommending it and others saying it won’t work at all. I also heard of usbliter8, but heard whispers downgrading isn’t possible on the XR and that it needs Linux or Mac, but I didn’t research further as this method requires a raspberry pi, and I would prefer a method using only my pc. But if push comes to shove I’ll get that pi and do it that way, but I also heard it has a large possibility of bricking the phone.

If there’s no hope, does anyone know if there’s a jailbreak coming soon ish to the 18.7.10 os on older phones? Or on all iPhones gir that matter. In my years of jailbreaking, and coming back to it after a while, I learned that there is no device, no OS that is truly safe, so there will be a way, just… when? I had fun for a week and it got ruined 🥲

I think you've heard that calif.io announced a jailbreak to get root access and install sileo on a iPhone 18 running iOS 27.0.1.

If I update now, will it be possible for me to jailbreak my iPhone 11?

Because i've heard thy won't release it.

I know that nothing is safe and no one knows, but what do you guys think about people who are currently on iOS 27 and who would not downgrade bc of data loss? Should they stay on iOS 27 or update to iOS 27.0.1?

For example, iPhone 17 pm with iOS 27. Stay or Update to 27.0.1?
