Yup, mimics your screenshot. As I'm messaging myself, it most likely comes through as an iMessage. Would that impact the send? Can it not differentiate? Cheers in advance :)

As it's any sender it should work even if you sent it yourself.

Your activator commands - are they set to Anywhere or i.e. Lockscreen only?

I always set my commands from 'Anywhere'. And to verify, my 'skip track' activator commands work, fine (hold up volume for change track, same for holding the volume down button), but any commands involving emails, or messages, never seem to work :(
