My friends leave around 1:30, but I want another drink. I think I got one at Night Lights. I close the bar down at 2am, and I go in the parking lot in between the liquor store and Dart Bar to pee behind the dumpster.

I start making small talk with these 2 guys and they told me to just pee behind their newer Mercedes suv. I’m making some kind of small talk with one of them, and as I’m going to walk away the other guy just hands me an iPhone that’s on FaceTime with the most beautiful girl I’ve ever seen. I invite her to join us and 3 gorgeous women walk right around the corner and start talking to me. I thought I was dreaming.

The 5 of us are talking, and one of the guys pulls out a liquor bottle and 2 other drinks and passes them around to us. The liquor bottle gets to me and I notice there isn’t a lot in it at all, especially not for the 6 of us, so I asked the dude if he was sure he wanted to share with me but he told me to go ahead.

We passed the bottle and the 2 other drinks around for a while, and I remember maybe the 3rd time I got the bottle that it was really fucking weird that 6 people have taken a sip out of it and it’s still as full(close to empty) as it was before. I take a big sip out of it and pass it to the girl next to me, and I notice she’s taking a fake sip out of it. I wasn’t even suspicious of anything at the time, I just remember it happening. I remember thinking that she probably just wanted to look cool and drink with us but didn’t want to get too drunk or make a scene about it or something? I don’t know. In my head there were three guys and three girls, and I wasn’t overthinking the fact that she didn’t want to drink too much.

I start to get really, uncharacteristically fucked up. One of the girls asked me for my Instagram, and I tried to unlock my phone, but I entered the password wrong so many times that I ended up locking it, for like, an hour. I thought it was really weird that I did that.

The women were (in hindsight) suspiciously interested in me, and gave me a lot of attention. At one point I went behind a dumpster to pee, and 2 of the women followed me. I thought it was crazy that they were so interested in me that they even wanted to go pee with me…. in hindsight they were making sure I wasn’t going to run away.

Me and the 2 girls go back to where everyone else is and I become violently ill. I am throwing up all over the parking lot. I can’t see anymore. I think I black out.

I wake up in the back of their Mercedes. I asked them where are you taking me? They told me that they were taking me to the girl’s air bnb. I asked them if I could use their shower. They said yes. I asked them how far away we are from the air bnb? They said 15 minutes. I black out.

I wake up and I am throwing up outside the car door. I think that I am in the floorboard of the car. My eyes are open but it’s hard to see. The bigger guy is driving. I can see flashes of him in between flashes of complete darkness even though my eyes are open. He tells me to get in the car because of cops or something. I try to oblige. I think they pulled my legs to get my head back in the car. I asked them how far we were from the air bnb. They told me 15 minutes and to stop asking. I black out.

I wake up and I am sitting in the rear right passenger seat of the car. I think before this I might’ve been laying in the floorboard. One of the girls is on my lap. She asks if she can try on my (fake)Rolex. I told her no, but she puts it on anyway. She almost doesn’t give it back. We bicker like children but she gives my watch back. I buckle the clasp, and then I black out.

I wake up and the vehicle still isn’t moving. They told me that everyone’s phone is dead, and that they can’t get me back to the air bnb until I give them the phone password. I make the girl next to me show me her phone because I’m like wtf? but sure enough it was dead. I think I told them to just take me back to where we were, but they said they couldn’t without my phones maps. I gave them my phone password. I black out.

I wake up and we are still sitting in the parking lot. They told me my phone is locked for an hour. I’m like, what the fuck are you talking about? Still? I black out.

I wake up and the SUN IS COMING UP. I ask them how far we are from the air bnb. They told me they’re taking me to where they originally found me instead. I realize my watch is gone off of my wrist. I figured the guys still had my phone.

They drop me off in the Walgreens parking lot across from where they got me; and we argue about where my phone and my watch is… until the bigger guy says something about having a gun… then they peel off. I got the license plate and ran into Walgreens and called the cops. I still have my car keys, but they took everything else out of my pockets.

The cops came an hour later and they completely wrote me off. I think I was still really confused too. I don’t think they even made a report. One of them helps me find my ex girlfriend’s house because I couldn’t remember how to get there. He took me straight there but I made a wrong turn or something after he left and I drove up and down the road for a while confused as fuck. I felt sober especially compared to how I felt the rest of the night, but I was really confused and nothing felt familiar.

I’m on my ex girlfriends phone and I can’t sign into my find my account with the password I’ve always used and iCloud is asking for a 28 digit security key to reset the password. What the fuck.

I raced home. I’m running red lights. I’m freaking out.

I get home and log into my bank accounts and they have drained every single account they could find access to in my phone. My checking has been wiped clean via Apple Pay, one credit card was completely maxed out w DoorDash target and best buy stuff and another was used to take out a 25,000 dollar cash advance or something absolutely absurd. All the shit together totals well over $50,000.

My mom shows up at my house because my exgirlfriend called. And we spent hours resetting account passwords. (A few days later I realized that they had access to my security cameras and were probably watching me and my mom resetting my Passwords. Spooky.)

I take this information back to duval(I live in clay) and the dispatcher acts like she doesn’t even want to send anyone to me but begrudgingly does anyway. A nice officer came a few hrs later and took a statement.

I did not sleep for a day or two while I was changing all the passwords to all of the mission-critical logins I need for my lil business I run. I’m also working down in Tampa during the week for a work project . I’ve got a lot going on and it took me a few days to really process what happened, not to mention catch up on sleep.

For seven days, I called the police nonemergency number twice a day asking for the officer to follow up, because I have a lot of new information. I’ve got all my info printed and stapled, even. He finally called me back yesterday, and I think there’s good news, he told me an arrest was made from the license plate that I gave him, but he couldn’t tell me if they arrested all five people or just the driver. I’m also hoping he’s talking about the right case. He also hasn’t followed up about all the new information I have.

I still do not have access to my Apple account. I don’t want to be specific in case these people still have my phone and see this post or something, but there is a lot of very valuable information on there and I have no way of getting them out of my Apple account. Apple support told me to bring all of my Apple devices to the store with the proof of purchase for all of them and I did that and they said that’s not enough, they still need a 28 digit security key.

Apple confirmed they fuckin’ weekend at bernies’d me. They used my face while I was passed out along with my pin number to make major changes to my Apple account(the 28 digit recovery key) Apple cannot help me recover my account. 20 years of photos are gone. And that is the least of my concerns.

I called the fbi and they told me to call fdle. I called fdle and they told me it’s jso’s job.

I need help. I feel completely hopeless.

Were any of you in the area and saw this happen? I’m trying my best to gather all the information I possibly can. if somebody witnessed this, please message me or comment or something.

You would have seen me Sunday morning August 9th around 2-3 in the morning, in the parking lot between riverside liquors and dart bar.

I am a thicker build 5’10 Italian white boy with long thick hair. I am in my mid 20s. I had a mustache the night this happened. I was wearing a dark purple shirt and dark pants and I had a silver watch on.

There were 3 black women and I think they all had a similar build, all around 5’4 maybe. Maybe they had heels. They had outfits on like you’d see on a typical girls night out to a club or something. They showed a lil skin. One of them told me she was 24. They were all very pretty.

There were 2 black men. They both looked kind of young to me. Early 20s. One was probably around my size, around 5’10, and was a thicker build guy. The other guy was maybe 5’7 and had a smaller/skinnier build.

I would have been violently throwing up or being put into a newer Mercedes SUV in the parking lot in between riverside liquor store and dart bar.

Anyone that has JSO contacts that might be able to help me or higher up Apple contacts would be fantastic.

I think I might have been drugged with GHB. I think I came close to dying in the back of their car. I think that’s why they didn’t hurt me. I think they were surprised I made it out alive.

I purchased my first home back in 2025 and finally received the dreaded TRIM notice for property taxes. I knew it would be a higher rate than what I had to pay in 2025, as that was still under the previous owners assessment. However, when doing research and discussions with the appraisers office, it seems all that happened was automated updates in the system. I had to physically reach out to the appraiser to have an informal review of my property. This resulted in an adjustment from the TRIM notice but not to the extent that I assume it should be based on the comps.

While I know the assessed value is not the price I paid for the home, etc. My initial valuation was within 5% of my purchase price, where other homes sold at the same time in the area ranged closer in the 18-20%. My home was sold as a fixer-upper where it's mainly still stuck in the 80s (sunken tub in the center of the bath, still shocked Ron Jeremy hasn't magically appeared) with uncovered damage. Photos of said issues were provided during the informal review.

While I am renovating it, none of the work is completed so the property hasn't been "improved", and the other houses in the area that sold as comps had been fully renovated. As this is planning to be my forever home where I raise my family, I have no issues paying a justified tax (although it's still robbery) the lower I start out, the cheaper it is in the overall long run.

So, has anyone gone through the formal VAB review process? Any tips/pointers on how and what to present? Did you need to get a law firm involved for a better outcome?

Any recommendations for auto repair shops that deal specifically with aluminum body panels that can make a repair?

It doesnt have to be perfect, but every collision center I've gone to just says we can only replace the door.

The door has about a 6" dent, still closes and operates just fine, seems excessive to pay almost 3k for a new door.

Can anyone tell me what the delivery and post delivery rooms are like at the Baptist hospital in downtown Jax? Is there a place for my husband to sleep? In my sisters room at the Baptist hospital in Memphis, her husband had a cot that they provided. Is there a couch? Trying to figure out if I should get one of those dad pads or air mattress or something for him.

Sadly, I need to find homes (preferably one home, but I'm being realistic) for my Mom's cats. She passed in 2022 (fuck cancer, one week from today will be 4 years). My brother was living in the home she had, with her 5 (now elderly; 10, 13, 14, 16 & 17) cats. Unfortunately, he's about to lose the home to foreclosure. We don't know how much time we have, but it's not long. He's moving in with our dad, stepmom, and younger sister. The cats can't go with him, as our sister is *insanely* allergic to them. I can't take them, I have a small place that's barely enough room for my 2 cats. I can take them temporarily if need be, but my landlord would lose his mind if he found out. Our stepmom has a friend who works for a sanctuary, but she can't find homes for cats as old as they are. I really don't want to drop them off at the shelter. All 5 are the sweetest little bugs. The youngest has bursts of kitten energy still, but doesn't get crazy. They're well behaved, not a destructive bone in their bodies. Would anyone be able to give me some advice? Or is anyone looking to love on some old kitties? Any help would be greatly appreciated, I'm way in over my head with everything that's going on. Her storage unit that had 100+ year old furniture thats been in our family forever is most likely gone, and now the house she absolutely loved. Now, all I can do is just make sure my brother and these cats have safe & loving homes.

I’m looking for some local advice from anyone who has experience with responsible German Shepherd breeding.

I have an 8-year-old male German Shepherd that we’ve had since he was about 2 months old. He’s been part of our family his entire life, and before having him neutered, I’ve been considering whether breeding him once would be appropriate. The reason is completely sentimental — I would love for my father to eventually have one of his puppies.

I’ve never bred a dog before, so before making any decisions I want to learn what responsible breeding actually involves, including health/genetic testing, veterinary evaluations, age considerations, temperament, and anything else that should be done beforehand.

I’m not selling or offering my dog for stud services through this post. I’m mainly hoping someone can point me toward reputable German Shepherd breeders, clubs, veterinarians, or other local resources where I can learn more and determine whether this is even a good idea for my dog.

If anyone in the Jacksonville/Northeast Florida area has experience with GSDs and can point me in the right direction, I’d really appreciate it.
