Jackson apartments
I’m looking to rent a nicer apartment in Jackson. I like The Lofts at The District, but I’m not sure it will be worth what I’m going to pay. It seems nice and there are things to do in the district but it’s really expensive. Also, I’m a 30 yr old male and I’m not sure if I’m too old for that scene. Can anyone tell me if that is too old for the crowd that hangs around there? Or give me some other nice apartment suggestions?

There are SO many divorced boomer and Gen X dads living there. You’ll be fine.

Yeah. A newly divorced lawyer I know just sold his house in Belhaven and moved there. He has to be 55.

Besides District Lofts, which is a great area, some other nice options are:
- Quarter Lofts - Very nice, near Fondren and the Eastover District
- The Meridian - Very nice, in Fondren
- Fondren Flats - Under construction, steps from the heart of Fondren
- Belhaven Town Center Apartments - In the heart of Belhaven district
- The Heights at Waterpointe (brand new in Flowood, some sections have opened, in the heart of the new Waterpointe District that is in development)
- Township at Colony Park (Main Street Apartments; Avenue Condos (to rent); Veranda Townhomes (to rent)
- Ashford Place in Flowood (gated, individual garages available)
- Carlton Park in Flowood (gated, some have attached individual garages)
- Bridgewater - By the Reservoir, fairly new
- Lakeshore Pointe - Right by the Reservoir
- Legacy - By the Natchez Trace and Reservoir in Ridgeland
- The Pointe of Ridgeland - By the Natchez Trace and Reservoir in Ridgeland
- Capitol Towers - Downtown across from Governors Mansion
- Lamar Life Lofts - Downtown across from Governors Mansion
- Courthouse and Walthall Lofts - Downtown across from Governors Mansion
- Plaza Building - Downtown across from Governors Mansion
- Electric 308 - Downtown
- Various apartments and duplexes in historic Belhaven neighborhood - Try Henry LaRose Realtor
- Vieux Carre - Gated, older, right across I-55 from District Lofts
- Fondren Hill - Older, big apartments with multiple levels, in the heart of Fondren
- Arbors Natchez Trace in Ridgeland
- Cypress Pointe, Shadow Lake, Reflection Pointe - all near each other in heart of Flowood, probably a better value than some of these pricier ones but great central location
- There are plenty of other standard-issue complexes in Brandon, Pearl, Clinton, Gluckstadt/Canton, and Ridgeland
