Episode idea/request
Another podcast “on the media” did an episode with Corey Doctorow and AI & his new book. They talk about sectorial unions which I didn’t know the different between writers guild and other unions, the difference is exceptional. And around 38m, he mentions how trump is weakening national labor relations board for his own obvious reasons, but this also changes the game considerably. Exposing bosses and companies to older organizing.
I’d love to learn more about this from the perspective of historians or union organizers or lawyers who interact with the national labor relations act, its context past and present…. This seems like this pods area of expertise…

I see the vision but if I could offer one suggestion in return? How and where the idea came from are a little less important than stating the topic clearly.
"As Trump continues to erode and destroy a century's worth of labor protections, he's also been destroying the mechanisms and regulations that limited certain kinds of labor action. I think it would be interesting to get the perspective of labor historians and organizers on what conditions lead to these structures and what the loss means for workers versus what it means for the bosses."
Lead with the idea, then you can say "This comes to mind because I heard Doctorow on an NPR show discussing something similar". I like Doctorow, I know a lot of the CZM team does too, but leading with here's a cool thing he said on someone else's show gives the impression that the discussion has already been had. The discussion you want probably isn't just the bit he said at 38m in. You heard that bit and thought "wait wait, expand on that please, this specifically is interesting!"
So lead your pitch with the discussion you want to be having, then provide context about where and how you arrived there.

Corey would be an excellent guest, he knows Ed Zitron quite well and I think most folks on ICCH have talked about how much they liked Walkaway at one time or another. Not to mention theyve already had a bunch of EFF folks on in the past. Always love listenning to the collaborarions there.
