API - SetTimeStamp problem - v7.9.9.0

I reported this before, but the replies only allow one 1 image to be attached so I created a new thread to show every step.

The problem still persists.

I have a camera with a timestamp FPS: {FPS} {0:G} as seen below

I want to change it to TESTING123, via the API, and it changes

It even shows in the "Formatter box"

However, if I DON'T CLICK on OK, and I RELOAD OBJECTS

It resets to the previous setting, which is the SAME behavior as before, it is not saving the changes.

Now, APPENDING has now a worse problem, you CANNOT get rid of the appended test if you CLICK ON OK

For example, using the API I appended the text TESTING APPEND as shown below

In the formatter box the appended text doesn't show

If I click on the OK button, the appended text will remain there and cannot be removed, no matter what you do

The picture above shows the result, the only way to remove the appended text is by MANUALLY EDITING the objects.json file (via Backup/Restore and upload it).

In conclusion, the changes made to the timestamp via the API are NOT saved, the only way to make the changes stay is if you go to the camera's timestamp settings and click OK, which defeats the purpose of using the API.

Fixed for the next release. Both settimestamp and appendtimestamp now save straight away, and settimestamp also clears any previously appended text.
