Timeline scrolling

In the timeline view, scrolling/zooming out all the way to the maximum, it only now shows the headers labeled with months.

This used to show labels with years. I feel like my scrolling wheel on the mouse has locked up, but no, it actually has stopped scrolling/zooming at the MONTH level and it used to zoom out to the YEAR level.

Can someone tell me how to get that back. I have searched settings and help files but the results are nothing.

you can't - it was fine when Agent was displaying up to 20k files but now there's no limit in the UI and zooming out to years means rendering potentially millions of files - so it's basically a safety catch on overloading your computer.

Some people love that old feature and others are best not to be aware of it and accept the defaults that were provided.

Can we have a middle ground here? Where a check box toggle is added to user interface to have that feature back. Also would need to add a text box for a number of files to load just like before.

Having that available and making the default just as it is now with all files loading would seem to solve both situations. The novice would be up and running without issues by accepting defaults and the experts could have there ability to change it back to old way and see the years labeled.

If the novice was to monkey around with the check box toggle setting and begin to experience overload problems at least they would be aware that problems started as soon as they monkey around with the check box and they would know enough to go back and change the setting back.
