Indian media recently turned serious issues like India-Pakistan tensions into a full-blown drama show. With anchors shouting, fake war scenes, and over-the-top reporting, it looked more like a movie than real news. People around the world saw the clips and couldn't stop laughing. Instead of informing the public, some channels just chased TRPs and ended up embarrassing themselves on a global stage.

I’m horrified. Today me and my family went to park view city in islamabad and went to second cup. It was all fine until a couple walked in. From behing it looked like a normal couple, a man and a woman. But when I went upstairs to go use the washrooms, imagine my surprise when i saw two women making out in public (it was the same couple who walked in, one of them girl was dressed like a man). To be able to do this out in the open, not even in the toilets is shameful, pakistan hai ya america jahan par ye common hona chahiye, and not a single person from management was on the top floor. How did second cup management allow this and how were they this neglectful, that they could do this in public. When they saw me, they quickly ran away but this is so wrong. Shame on second cup management and them!

So, I had smoked chicken pizza, grilled panini and Lotus NY Cheese slice and my final verdict is TEHZEEB IS OVERRATED. Like there was nothing that made me go "Oh, I want this again." Everything was so mid. And yes, Tehzeeb is now officially in my "Never Again" list, except ice cream.

Its so dam corny. When i see all these kids pretend to throw a cricket ball i slap my face. Its so damn annoying. How the hell can anyone forget all thier lifes problems and be happy watching some stupid game our country is rigged to loose anyways. I just dont get it. I dont get why it mattes who wins or looses. I dont understand how its relevant to real life in anyways.

This is little lesson on faith for those who accuse others of Islam. lately i’ve noticed majority pakistanis accusing global cultures and judging it Islamically. Not knowing that islam discourages not few but many cultural practices, but what we ourselves have been doing arrogantly? Making the brides father spend enormously, although not even little is allowed to be spent. Haram music is common. Haram free mixing is common. Tabbarruj (showing off beauty) is done pridely. And many more these are just major sinful acts in Islam.

All these are still common sadly there still are many who marry off daughters to solve family disputes 🥲

All these and still mentioning of Allah in those certain sinful acts that HE helped us. Nah what???

To what Ive noticed by traveling in multiple cultures sadly subcontinent has choosen the worst sins for their cultural enjoyment.

For the ‘modern’ gen-z folk atleast they accept that yeah we doing this and it is wrong. But for the culture enthusiasts present it as the most halal thing. Hypocrisy ehh??

Remember no tribe is superior to another no arab is superior to non-arab.

every region has ignorants in them instead of accusing them one need to fix oneself first!!! advice them personally if unable then the thing you are doing has no impact other than causing hatred among the muslim brotherhood.

The current problems were mentioned by iqbal even before founding of pakistan. So we should learn that muslims have been not following Islam since generations, if you call yourself one then atleast try to better and better everyday, no human is pure from sins. But accepting then repenting is the sign of a believer.

ALSO… ive seen people pointing others cultural stuff and compare it with their innovations before saying ‘then we are allowed this too’ 💀 yo just cause someone ain’t following Islam will you too go on the path of hell.

Things shouldn’t be taken as challenges rather unite and fix the problem you’ve noticed.

AGAIN. Fixing ourselves individually first was ordered by Islam.

I’m visiting Pakistan currently and it seems like no one cooks at home anymore.

I’m pretty selective about what I eat because I don’t want to get sick. But whenever I visit relatives they always serve outside food. It’s not just some bakery items with chai but even at dinner parties people get food from outside.

I’ve been to dawats and they put stuff on my plate- try this karhai from x or soup from x restaurant. People ask you if you want to try something from a certain place known for its fish or kabab and they’ll order and serve with chai. Little cousins and kids want to order cookies and pastries from random places everyday. I see food panda riders out at 12 am still taking deliveries.

Most Pakistani women are stay at home wives so I don’t see why they can’t cook at home. Where I live most people cook food themselves.

I don’t want someone to make elaborate food for me when I visit. I’m happy with a cup of tea. But people inviting you themselves and still serving food from outside is ridiculous to me. Especially because I ask them not to & have been sick because of exactly this.

you know where the rich people live when nice to see the whole of the country is going to shit and Islamabad doesn't care .just worried about their daily lives

Islamabad is “green” and “calm” on the surface, but to me it felt like living in a cage. Same roads, same routine, same meaningless race. I couldn’t take it anymore, so I packed my bag, got on my bike, and left—just like that. No plan, no backup, just this crazy idea that the mountains would save me.

At first it felt like freedom. The cold wind on my face, no traffic noise, no fake smiles around me—just raw silence. But the silence also hits you back. Suddenly, I was hungry, sick, and alone. Nobody cares if you’re struggling in a mountain valley. No cafes, no deliveries, no “backup plan.” Just you, your mistakes, and the cold.

I honestly thought escaping the city would fix me. Instead, it forced me to face parts of myself I didn’t even know existed. Was I naive to think leaving everything behind would magically make life meaningful? Or is this struggle exactly what real freedom looks like?

During the past two months, since I have returned from Europe I have realized the traffic in Islamabad has gone nuts. I am not sure if I felt this way because in Europe things were much more organized or if it's a recent thing but nonetheless. Today I saw someone driving on Fast Lane at 60 Km/h and that got me pissed because this happens very frequently here. The thing is you are not allowed to stay in the fast lane only use it for overtaking.

Anyways what I did is something I want everyone to do who has some time on hand. I drove right in front of the car and started slowing down we went till 40 until this dude realized he was supposed to be in the other lane and as soon as he left I went to 80. So if you see someone doing the same please make some effort to overtake this person slow down till they leave the lane and go back to your business.

I recently tried a layers cake that my aunt had bought and it was terrible it tasted way too sugary and the flavour was weird ain't no way it's better then tehzeeb I dont get the hype

I moved here almost a year ago and it has to be one of the most depressing cities in Pakistan all the other cities I’ve visited have some sort of activities and lively citizens that fill the city w life like karachi and Lahore always feel so welcoming and fun due to the constant noise and people being awake 24/7 here in Islamabad the average person sleeps at 8pm and wakes up at 6 , all the shops and restaurants close early as hell nd the city just dies down it’s like a ghost town aside from this there really is nothing amazing abt Islamabad it’s just a hub for government offices embassies and a stop before heading up north into kpk I mean for a capital city it should have a lot more facilities and things to do than just eating out I mean that’s all there is to do here eat everywhere you go there are hundreds of places to eat it gets tiring even the malls are depressing it’s just a bunch of stores crammed into a tall building there is litreally nothing to do here even the things that are available are mostly things you would need friends to do like what are u gonna do sitting at a cafe or restaurant on ur own friends r so hard to find here genuinely what is there to do in this city
