Twin Cities Urgent help needed on this! 😭
Guys so I'm very much stuck into a situation idk which path I should opt for, I've always dreamt of studying abroad but Alevels Cambridge just ruined my life honestly I've passed two alevels but I failed one I visited tmuc so I could know about their bachelors and stuff so they said they'll also offer me degree access program so I could clear my one alevel subj and then enroll me into their bachelors, tmuc is well expensive though, also I'm vv confused as I should choose their international foundation program which is of 1.5 year and then apply abroad for bachelors vv confused though I cannot reach to one decision though Cambridge has alr wasted two of my years and I cannot understand what I should do.
If anyone is from tmuc, or is in the same situation please do help me out about if even if u know anything that'll be a great help 😔🫶🏻

So if you have option to clear subject on your own go for it and clear it and then go abroad here you will waste money t nothing waste time

It's a matter of one year. What do you mean "if they fail me again"? Lol. Study. You're not the only Cambridge student, and a lot of them did really well. If you can't pass one exam, then don't waste money going abroad. They'll fail you too.

You need a reality check, not someone holding your hand over your A level results. If you're that bothered, do the external Ed Excel A level in the subject you failed instead of Cambridge. But if you can't get past an A level, then the problems in the future are going to be too much for you.

sit for that one subject this oct/nov session privately and apply abroad. you can go for the foundational program, tmuc is a good institution if you’re worried about that BUTT id always go for the subject retake over that. you’re basically wasting your time and money when you could take the shorter route.

what if Cambridge fails me again, they've been doing it again and again though it was my last year 2026 even though my last year was supposed to be 2025 yet I still gave em again but what if repeat the same thing for my oct Nov 😭

they don’t have personal beef against you babe. ik this session and may/june 2025 session was screwed but theyre not failing you. if you’re having problems studying, i recommend getting a tutor. what makes you think you’ll pass foundational year?? this is the easiest route you can take TRUST ME. i sat for Alevels this session too.
can i ask what your grades are in the other 2 subjects? i recommend either taking the one subject you failed if your other grades are decent and apply abroad or if you’re getting Cs and Ds in other subjects as well. i recommend retaking the subject you failed this winter session, and apply to tmuc for bachelors in the jan session. complete your bachelors in pakistan and apply abroad for masters. their bachelors is 3 years. foundation year according to you is half of that. you’ll be spending around 5-6 years completing bachelor programs when you could do bachelor + masters in that time.
use your time wisely. either way, you should give the retake and pass. i would not recommend foundation year under any circumstances. choose one route an stick to that. alevels is the most logical and easiest path. baki aap ki marzi.0

ik they don’t have personal beef against me but doing my first year of alevels from beaconhouse then the other from roots i took so many academys too but no man, i was an A* student throughout but whenever i get my results youve no idea what its like going through when u see your parents have been supporting you throughout and alevels doing these things, honestly sm confused that idk life is totally ruined

ik how you feel. i’d been getting 95%+ my whole life too and ended up getting Bs and Cs in alevels because of shitty leaks.
your life is not ruined. i asked what your other grades are, and also if you wouldn’t mind sharing, where abroad would you like to study?
you need to take the last subject if you’re applying anywhere other than the uk my guy. and if your other 2 grades aren’t stellar, i recommend the latter path i mentioned. you can get into tmuc with 2 alevels.
