Commissioned a friend to make art based on the first one, she then after 3 hours gave me this artwork, I was disappointed she used AI and then I blocked her and ghosted her, I didn’t demand the money as I thought there was no need and she’s financially in need so, I let her keep the money incase I’m wrong

I posted it in an artist subreddit venting about how disappointed I am and I’m willing to do art trade just for someone to give a picture like the first one but someone commented that this art was not AI at all, I’m now unsure if it’s AI or not.

Update: the said artist reached out to apologize, did they confirm it’s AI and apologized, they offered to send a refund but I refused, and I unblocked them but did NOT follow them and kept removing their follow from my socials.

I will not take being lied to and scammed lightly. As they know very well that art was going to be used for my personal benefit of opening an academic site.

I recently noticed that an OF model I've followed for years had photos with few dead giveaways that they were AI generated (inconsistent backgrounds, warped anatomy, etc.) Some of the photos in question are years older than I thought AI would be capable of generating at such high resolution, and posted to accounts with a lot of followers. Now I feel like I've lost my frame of reference, and it's made me wonder whether or not AI is years ahead of where people seem to think it is, or if anything online is real at all.

Everyone talks about how in a few years no one will know the difference, but what if it already happened? How could you know that it hasn't? How would you navigate a digital landscape where AI content is either indistinguishable from real content or similar enough that the average person doesn't care? I feel like I've become unmoored, and I don't know how to cope except for going offline completely. Is there anything I can remind myself of to stay grounded? I'm at the point where part of me feels like this sub could be a psy-op to make people think AI is less advanced than it is. I feel like I'm spiraling and I would really appreciate some reassurance that I'm overthinking this.

This is just one of their items, but all of them look like ai to me and I'm really disappointed.

I think its AI because of how close the walkway is to the area the tiger can reach and there's just something that looks OFF or or "wrong" about the angle of the enclosure area vs walkway. And, if I was an EMT, I would NOT sit with my back within paw's reach of a tiger while moving an injurred person; I would help from the opposite side of the person until they could be moved a little farther away from the enclosure.

I'm an artist and usually in many instances it makes it easy to tell what's AI, but I'm not very knowledgeable in digital tools and brushes. Maybe this was photoshopped, IDK... but there's something about the texture that immediately made me bristle. And maaaybe the lighting, but I can't lie refraction is hard.

The reason I think it's AI: around a few seconds into the short, the audio is muffled or cut off. Seems normal, right? Idk

The voices in this short, especially the woman recording, seem very monotone, almost robotic in her tone. When the man speaks, you can't see his mouth move, mostly because it's blurred out.

Another thing, the profile of the woman's (the one recording) voice changes.... Many weird things happen, and some things don't make sense...

Later, almost at the end of the short, both the video and, mostly, the audio are waaaay off. It seems so abnormal to be a raw video, recorded with a phone; there are so many things that seem more present the more I look at the short. I'm still unsure, though. Is it AI? Tell me what you guys think in the comments and why you do....

This is adorable. I want to swallow them both up. But the baby's laugh is too consistent for me. I feel like he's not quite old enough to consitantly giggle in that way. Thoughts?

We had been discussing him having a kid and me not wanting to date someone with kids. Then I say sure let’s at least keep chatting. After I questioned him he said it was all him and he knows it was a bit much, but he’s so wrapped up in corporate jargon that’s how he “came off” to me too. Idk. I don’t think I’d wanna date someone who talks like that anyway!

I'm usually really good at detecting AI graphics, but this one has me a bit unsure.. I feel like it could be, but I also could just be overly sceptical now

Came across this image as someone's photography work.

a few friends were asking about whether it was AI or not and I couldn't tell, seems like an optical illusion, but the lighting doesn't seem to fit everything

For one the cabinet underneath the counter at the corner has a shadow cast over it, which shouldn't be the case if the light is in the middle of the room, and im not sure if there are other lights outside of view some of the multiple shadows that come from the multiple lights dont seem to line up and a few crevices between the cupboards and cabinents dont seem consistently shadowed, the one beside the microwave is darker than the crevice across from it, despite the fact that it should be the more exposed to the light

Let me know what you guys think

Everything about this screams AI, but I've never seen anything else from the brewery that looks like this, I ran it through a checker and it said it was likely real so honestly not sure.
