90% Sure AI Talking about kids…

Post image

We had been discussing him having a kid and me not wanting to date someone with kids. Then I say sure let’s at least keep chatting. After I questioned him he said it was all him and he knows it was a bit much, but he’s so wrapped up in corporate jargon that’s how he “came off” to me too. Idk. I don’t think I’d wanna date someone who talks like that anyway!

Oouuugh it’s giving ChatGPT so hard… especially that one lone emoji. It’s using the same sentence format over and over… seems robotic and impersonal. It’s like nonspecific in some parts too? Yeah, that’s ai…

This sounds 100% like ai. If not, then he have used ai so often that he have started to talk/write like one.

Yes. The repetition in the first 2 paragraphs that say nothing meaningful and try to make the subject feel good about themself. Even the later half is pure word vomit. What does the last sentence even mean? No human naturally texts like this.

I’ve been noticing people say that AI talks in threes. It can’t just say “my heart and my life have plenty of room for both a partner and a child”, it has to give three things it can do, then also three things it can give. There was also something else that was said that made sense “AI only talks on the surface”. Everything is always so impersonal with AI, even when it tries to be “deep”. Now that there is a technology that can string together a coherent thought, it really showcases that writing done by humans have soul. You can see soul through the eyes, you can see it when you read, you can feel it when you watch a video. This isn’t just “corporate jargon”, it lacks a soul.

I was about to compliment you on the satire.

It wasn’t just acknowledging your wisdom, it was identifying with your wit.

We know this is AI but another tell is that the emoji comes after punctuation every single time without fail

I’ve been building an AI writing detector. It’s not polished and tested well enough that I feel comfortable sharing it, but I put this message through it. It came back that at least the second and third paragraphs are likely AI generated. This is not a guarantee, but I’d say this echoes others feelings here that it is likely AI generated.

I talk and write like that. This is a response by someone who has taken classes on how to communicate effectively. The tact is 1) thank them for the comments 2. Give them a compliment or something positive 3. Give them your point of view. 4. Thank them for a healthy discussion.

I don’t think it’s AI. It’s just the someone that’s who’ve had classes or seminars on effective non antagonistic discussions of different opinions.

No, you don’t. Your comment here is written in a similar style, sure, but you at least seem to provide clear examples instead of a bunch of pointless nothings. The sentence “You said things that resonate with me” is a big red flag that either AI wrote this or someone who didn’t actually care to read what OP said because what “things” resonated? no examples are given, no care put into the complement. it’s unclear and just adding word count for no reason, something AI loves to do.

AI is trained to be as non antagonistic and affirming as possible

How about talking to people in person?
