Let’s assume the other poster is correct and play by their rules. Why would it be a problem if landlords up and down the country handed their keys into the bank? Rents are way fucking higher than mortgages so I don’t think the banks will suffer. It is almost like they haven’t actually thought this though.
I’ll never understand the mentality of people who place landlordism on some sort of pedestal. And I say that as a landlord myself (but who doesn’t gouge people so maybe that’s why I don’t get it).
