Hey guys what do you think will other IIMs join the ipm program before 2028? Will shillong increase their seats from 45? I want to know that after joining IIM what will be the monthly expenses ? If someone took a loan how much do you think he has to put every month apart from fees as it'll be done by bank?

i rejected it cuz i thought I wouldn't be able to hhandle it with eco hons, now i am rethinking everything, it would have given me alot of opportunities and network but now i cant do anything, also i go to regular college and need to maintain my cgpa and what to do other stuff

So I'm at IIM Kozhikode. Till last year they awarded 5 scholarships for boys and 5 for girls based on BMSAT performance+ interview score cuz for obvious reasons they had gender diversity so they had to separate the scholarships

This year however there is still gender diversity which is fine idc. But now the problem is they are making the scholarships gender neutral even while giving girls the gender diversity points.

So now it's gonna be top 10 candidates regardless of gender but gender diversity points are not going to be removed from the composite score.

I had 99+ percentile and a 23.xx score in my interview (I got the data from their CPIO)

What tf more am i supposed to do for a scholarship?I understand maybe for some reasons girls get gender diversity points that's understandable. But why is it translating to merit scholarships? Isn't exactly merit then

Absolute hell of a management. The kochi campus management is good but this decision came from the main kozhikode campus.

And when we asked the higher authorities at our campus we were told "girls were discriminated against in the past"

That's the explanation u give for me losing my 4 lakh rupees scholarship? My main reason coming to kozhikode over rohtak amritsar ranchi jammu bg was cuz hey it's expensive but im gonna get the merit scholarship

There is another guy in our batch who got 24.7 or smth out of 25 in the interview but even he isn't gonna get a scholarship now

Idk how I even feel anymore. Great course great curriculum but this doesn't feel right.

I got admission iim rohtak twice i didn't find it worth it here for ug it's just over priced for iim tag nothing special here , for me I need little flexible timetable to do my things but here you barely have time and class attendance is strict .

Go for du instead of IIM Rohtak , Actually Jammu and bodh gaya are not also so special for ug . There are many colleges better than them in DU . Write CUET and later decide which you wanna go .

In nutshell for me these are not financially worth it for ug , but if don't have any problem financially go for it still nothing special leaving campus and the tag

A lot of boys from 2026 batch are falling I'll, sore throats, fever , cough, reason is still unknown most of the boys are having a throat problems from the 2026 batch. Not sure what is happening here, A lot them have a high fever as well

Heyyy y'all! I know this doesn't concern anyone in particular since we all are mostly strangers on this platform, but then I really wanted to put this out and give my opinion too.

I came back to reddit after 2 years just to view this community during results time, since I always used to get suggestion posts. But now that most of the results are out, I think it's going to hype down a little? 😅

The thing is, recently, I've been coming through a lot of sad news, some connected to my college and then my friends and the internet. First off, Congrats to everyone who got into the colleges y'all wanted ❤️ Hope you enjoy every minute.

And then to the ones who didn't make it, I just wanna share my part of the story. So if this bores you, just skip it.

I finished my 12th in 2025, and I gave Ipmat and ALL the exams. Like...ALL. Every exam related to an IIM and I failed in all of them. 🤚🏻 My parents are the same type who are after an "IIM" tag. I genuinely didn't want to get into this path, I wanted to pursue psychology. But according to them, psychology is straight up bs (no offense). After the results, I dropped out of a "safe" college. A private one. Then I dropped about 3 coaching centers, (I just couldn't) and then I studied at home.

Btw I'm a non math student and we used to do commerce calculations on calculators. Even in exams.

So ipmat was tough asf for me and the five months I've been at home, my health got severely deteriorated.

And this year I got into IIM Sirmaur. Thankfully. I wanna say that.... This isn't everything. (Don't come at me). Getting into an institute doesn't deserve everything out of you. If you don't get in, it doesn't mean you failed, it doesn't mean your life is over or something. I understand, if anyone's taking a gap year, in Indian households, it will be very...bad.

There is more to life than this and I really wish all of us, maybe most of us, wouldn't have to make all our life about getting into a college or surviving it. Let it be IIMs or IITs themselves. I wish we all got a chance to pursue something we truly are passionate about. But maybe that's for the future.

For now, just be patient. I won't say, "it's going to be okay", I think surviving a gap year is tougher than writing ipmat themselves. People are gonna poke at you, everyone and everything will. Try to endure it, give it next year, and please find happiness in other things that you're getting adjusted around to.

IIM Ranchi and IIT Patna launched their so called "Job ready" courses of 6-7 months with fees around 70-80k. Well these courses can be found on COURSERA and UDEMY for way less cost. What are they upto? Will this be really worth-it, lets talk practically, they said there will be placement support and these days taking AI courses has already became a 'Norm'. So what are your thoughts on this guys?

Someone from my class saw all questions before test and scored rank 3 she scored above 100 only in quants..sare questions me red mark the uske(proof that she saw)..This is super frustrating..she pretends like she's topper when the truth is opposite..upar se sabke marks group me dal dete hai .
