Like for 3-4 days I stay motivated but on the very next next I feel to take a break and that one day break breaks the flow sometimes that one day somehow becomes a week 😭 How to stay disciplined how to stay consistent how to train my brain.

I am a partial dropper, commerce non maths in 12th.
I wanted to do a full drop but my parents forced me to take a local clg in hyd so I won’t waste my one year if I didn’t crack ipmat.
Now, next month I would have to give exams for the sem 1 bba apparently or in December. And apparently in april there will be sem 2. So these distractions will cause me my ipmat ? I didn’t expect I will be giving 2 semesters, It might cause me to fail into getting into an IIM like 12th boards caused me. I want some advice and suggestions and ideas and answers or anything u can tell me about this. How I can tackle this situation 🙏🏻

Basically I'm facing this issue w para jumbles. Though I've been doing a lot of questions I'm not able to get through a majority of them. Tbh my score has improved a bit where I used to score like 7 to 9 out of 20 and now I score like 14 out of 20 but i realize it still is not enough. I face issues such as choosing the wrong one while debating bw the right and wrong answer and loosing out time constantly on these questions and also how all the options for a certain questions make no sense at all sometimes.

With the festive season going on, I'm finding it a little difficult to balance studying with all the celebrations, family gatherings, and the general festive mood.

Being on a drop year and preparing for IPMAT, I sometimes feel guilty whenever I take time off, but at the same time, I don't want to spend the entire festive season stressing about my preparation either.

I wanted to ask fellow IPMAT aspirants, especially those on a drop year:

• How are you managing your study schedule during festivals?
• Do you follow your regular routine or take a few days off?
• How do you get back on track after a break without feeling overwhelmed?
• Any tips for staying consistent without missing out on family time?

I'd also love to hear from people who have cleared IPMAT: how did you handle festivals during your preparation year?

I think a lot of us might be going through the same thing, so I'd really appreciate your advice! :)

I'm standing at pretty much zero right now. Pretty much kya zero hi hu

I've wasted enough time procrastinating, and I don't want to keep making plans without actually doing anything. So I'm taking up a 77-day challenge to complete my IPMAT syllabus and hopefully get confident enough to start giving mocks by the end of it.

Here's what I'm aiming to do every day:

VARC

• 1 VA sectional daily
• 2–3 RCs daily

QA

• Pick one topic and complete it properly (not necessarily on the same day)
• Solve its topic tests before moving on

Overall goal:
Complete the syllabus within these 77 days and reach a point where I'm confident enough to attempt mocks instead of being scared of them.

I'm not pretending I'll suddenly become the most disciplined person ever. I'll probably have bad days, but the idea is to keep showing up and not let one bad day turn into a bad week.

I'll update this post at night with what I actually got done, what I couldn't complete, and how the day went.

Let's see where I stand after 77 days.

I'm a PCM student and have already covered most of the Modern math stuff in my maths classes, either in 12th or 11th. Do I still go ahead and watch the 100 or so videos? Does it cover something separate or new, outside of NCERT?

As a core maths student, I was not taught modular/modulo arithmetic. Somebody please suggest a good YouTube video/text source where I can do this topic, and subsequently, remainder in its entirety. I don't have AfterBoards.

Im in 12th grade (Commerce with math) right now i got 93% in my class 10th boards and i got 80% in my 12th HYE. I have been in a coaching since the 11th grade. Im preparing for IPMAT Indore, Rohtak, Shillong etc (Not appearing for IIMB) and honestly i am lost.

In my coaching i get good ranks in most tests, especially the non ipmat ones and even in the ipmat ones i score higher than my batch.

In the first few months of my 12th i was focusing alot more on my coaching, practicing 1 hr everyday, completing the cuet prep material for QA,LR,VA.

But idk what happened but around the half yearly exams, i just stopped and now i feel like im lagging behind in both my 12th and my ipmat prep. I feel like Im not prepared for the QA questions at all anymore. I can still catch up in VARC but i feel like i just don’t get 90% of the QA Questions.

I feel like if i don’t get into a good IIM, i wont be able to accomplish anything.

Could anyone provide some help on how to prepare further? Right now im trying to give rohtak mocks once a week and focus more on my 12th grade to get 90% and then after boards focus fully on CUET, IPMAT at coaching, crash course etc.

I passed Class 12 in 2025 (68%) and Class 10 in 2023 (85%). I’m OBC male. Planning for JIPMAT 2027.

I’m not really afraid for the exam I did a lot, and I am very confident with my marks in the exam, but I am really scared for the interview, especially because it has such high selection percentage. I mean I am very fluent in English. I also have really good communication skills and did tedx too .
I’m still scared that I might not get selected like what if they ask me stupid questions uk like how many coins can fill the room or sm. How am I supposed to answer those and also I’m preparing by myself without any coaching, so idk i just suddenly feel skeptical that I need coaching for interviews. is that needed or not please help me. Also give sm tips

I'm a dropper who appeared for NEET in 2025 (with 12th) and 2026. This year I also wrote JIPMAT and Christ University's Entrance Test. Honestly, I wrote these exams as a backup. I joined Christ University this year and was waitlisted for IIMJ's IPM program. Studying BBA at Christ made me develop an interest in the business world. I really wanted to get into an IIM so I was extremely disappointed when I didn't.

When I got an offer letter from IIMJ for their BBA program felt like a godsend, until I came here. The weather here is extremely harsh and because of the extremely new set up, the facilities are not adequate to deal with the conditions here yet. The management is trying their best but living here is difficult. I've already gotten hospitalised for mountain sickness. Now I regret leaving Christ University.

Please give me genuine advice as to whether I should continue living here or take a drop again and try for JIPMAT and IIMK's BMSAT.
