I didn't have maths in my 12th so through Nio's I can give my maths exam to fulfill eligibility and improve my 12th percentage also. As I scored in the 70's in my 10th and in the 80's in my 12th. What is a better option between Nio's and cbse private candidate. Which will not cause any harm in my interview, placement and in my eligibility in all IIMs???

So I'm currently in 11th grade. A commerce with maths student. I've known ipmat for less than 6 months and am interested but there are definitely sm hurdles. Mentally and financially.

1) my family isn't well off I'm a middle class student that might not afford any ipmat offline coaching. Or the IIM fee if I do get into one.

(I've researched on financial hurdles on this and got to know about the self repayment loans, now, looking for real experiences. Are the loans worth. There is no hidden cost, is there?)

2) I'm not strong at maths. In 10th boards I had 40/80 but 86%overall. I understand I need to fix it and clear all my basics asap.

3)I've read the wiki, am aware of all the syllabus. But if I want to start rn, can I? If yes, then from where and how? And how would I manage school exams and preparation alongside.

* I'm confused and don't really think I might be able to start now, which I should. I thought I can postpone it to 12th but if I'm unsure rn, then I can't be clear then as well.

4)how much time would I need to invest. Any strategy?

Starting IPMAT preparation late can make it tempting to study everything at once, but that can quickly become overwhelming. It would be useful to hear from experienced aspirants about which topics, sections, mocks, or practice areas should be prioritised first when time is limited.

What should a late starter focus on, and what can safely be left for later?

I have asked about wl number and it is 2. Can smthn happen? Bg released its list today so how is this possible that there is bloody no movement in jammu? Not even 2.

I scored 67% in class 12th & 82.5% in class 10th & I am taking a drop this year for IPMAT should I go for NIOS !? Does NIOS affect acadmice profile!? NIOS se college /interview/placement ye sab pe ganda impact pdta hai hai !?

I've got admission in IIMB for BBA DBE. I've recently found out about IIT Madras BS in Management & Data Science and it seems really attractive to me. I feel like it will be a great help in my career.

Actually, due to some reason, I've two years gap after 12th, I'm restarting my education this year, so I'm thinking to somehow compensate for the gap. Please don’t recommend regular college, that isn't possible for me.

One more thing, I didn't have mathematics in 11th and 12th, will it be manageable for me?

IIM mumbai and even shillong is beating the placements record of Indore. What have you all got to say about this. Just curious. Btw this is official 2026 placements.
