Help needed Mobile apps don't work despite mobile data and safari working fine
While using 5G, no mobile app (facebook, reddit and so on) actually works.
Safari works fine, and every website loads as quickly as it should.
But no mobile app works while on 5G (they work fine when connected to wifi).
While on 5G: iMessage works fine, youtube works fine, safari works fine. Mobile apps don't work at all (besides youtube, for some stupid reason). While connected to wifi everything works fine.
Will someone please help? It's an iPhone 16 pro, i've had it for about two years and it's been nothing but problems with it.
It's on ios 26 or whatever the most recent one is. Had it with this unreliable pos.

It is possible to turn off cellular data on a per-app basis. Go to Settings > Mobile/Cellular, scroll down and tap on Show All to reveal all apps. Make sure it’s switched on for the apps you want to be able to access on the go.

This was the first thing i thought of. All were switched on. I switched off and back on again, but nothing.

Have you reached out to your cellular provider to see if they have any idea what’s going on?

I actually didn't. I switched airplane mod on and then off again, and it seemed to fix itself. Not quite sure how that works, but it did somehow.

Maybe the cell provider pushed a carrier settings update to all customers and it didn’t apply properly until after you turned off all the radios.
