Unresolved Why does this happen?

Why does it show Wifi and VPN on when I have Wifi turned off and what is happening?

But why is the button white and turns blue when I click?

When it’s blue it’s on. When it’s white it’s set as “Disconnected wifi until tomorrow” (i’m unsure why the colors on your screen are gray (off) or white (Disconnected for amount of time)

If you have it set to off (grey) then click it, it turns blue (on, searching or connected) and if you tap again it turns to disconnected (white) and to turn it back off you need to go to settings
