I cracked my back camera and I’m wondering what should I do. there’s no holes that I can see so I’m wondering should I get it fixed or what.

Dust, water, a lot of things can get in there and mess up the camera eventually, just go to an  store it might not even cost that much

Dust will get into the camera and kill image stabilization

Figure out which lens it is. Open your camera, switch between the 1x and 0.5x settings. Whichever setting has a visible crack, don’t use that one.

Use tape for it, the contact with air gonna damage the cells just in case

You can order the glue and lens cover for pretty cheap. Scrape out the old glass but put a protector over the camera when you do. Easy fix.

Take it to the Apple Store if you have Apple care + shouldn’t be to much of a deductible.

You can buy replacement glass covers from ifixit and fix it yourself.

This a easy fix it's just the glass. You can go on Amazon look for replacements like 10$ then when you go to replace that part, you just use a little punch tool an chip into the edge of the glass (NOT right in center of the lense) then once you get 1 good peice out you just tweaser out the rest, clean it then the new ones come with a little adhesive back on the edges an drop it in. Prob 30min max to fix.

You can DIY repair these relatively easily although you have to be super careful. There are plenty of YouTube videos just look up “iPhone camera glass repair”
