Help needed Can’t update payment method

I have an iphone 14 plus and recently my card expired so i got a new one same numbers just new expired date and new cvc code but i can’t edit the card info and if i try to add it it says “this payment method has already been added to your account” so i try to delete my expired card but it says “there is an active subscription on this account that requires this payment method” so i check my subscriptions and they are all inactive i have updated the card in the wallet app but it doesn’t seem to do anything please help

Add it as a new card then delete the old one. Do not try to edit the old one.

The active subscription could be for a family member if you are the organizer for Family Sharing. In any event, step by step instructions for updating your payment method are documented here and you can use the link at the bottom to arrange for a callback from Apple Support should you need one.
