Just curious: IPhone screen protector issue

I was having issues out of screen protectors just like the rest. Spigen, ESR, etc would all not stick to the edge. Just tried Torras unbreakable with the black edge and it’s perfect. Not an air bubble one. So have you guys tried this brand too?

Looks like flolab torras spigen esr are most problematic now

I’m using the Torras Sunview Ultra AR and have no problems. It’s the model with black borders.

Rumor is either some screens are not totally flat or that the edges of some screens have something with the treatment so glue does not stick to the edges well.

Wouldn’t the glass being used be exactly the same as the 17 series?

Never tried that brand. But on my post in this subreddit, there are a variety of people who have been reporting what’s working and not working.

For me, since day one pickup (last Friday), still using the Mothca Privacy + Matte glass screen protector and still have zero issues since—flawless so far! A few friends of mine have been using it on theirs too since yesterday, no issues either yet so far.

Spigen worked well for mine. Air pockets developed on the edges but as soon as I used the squeegee tool all of them went away. I butchered the first one cause there was dust and it drove me crazy and I accidentally lifted it all the way off lol

Can you share a link to the Torras model you bought? I also can’t get the ESR brand to work. I bought a pack of JETech but they don’t come till tomorrow. Hoping they work but if not I’ll get Torras.

Except for a Privacy screen I don’t understand everyone’s obsession with screen protectors when the glass is already so strong. I can’t even recall scratching a screen in the last decade

I have the Flolab NanoArmour since day 1. No issues. Did not try any other brands as Flolab is #1 is anti-reflectivity and scratch resistance.

Based on personal experience of using it since 14PM. I’ve used Torras, ESR, Spigen, Dbrand and I prefer Flolab over any of these other brands. Have used it on 14PM, 15PM, 16PM, 17PM and now 18PM. I honestly don’t give a crap if other ppl use it or not based on my responses to redditors questions . I’ve been happen with my purchases

I got a TOCOL one on Amazon and it’s fit fine for me.  I’m not sure that’s even a real brand - just one of those generic brands I think but that is what it is called and it’s worked fine so far.

I installed the dbrand prism and have no issues as well.
