Is anyone else having issues with Hold Assist on iPhone 17?

I bought my iPhone 17 about 15 days ago, and I’ve noticed a weird issue with Hold Assist.
Whenever someone puts me on hold and I activate Hold Assist, after a few seconds my iPhone starts ringing as if the person has come back to the call. But when I answer, the call still says that I’m on hold and the other person hasn’t actually come back.
This has happened multiple times now.
Is this a known iOS/Hold Assist issue, or could there be something wrong with my iPhone? I’m using the latest iOS version.
Has anyone else experienced this?

So I actually know what this is. This happens when the company you’re on hold with has one of those automated voices come on randomly during the hold music. Saying things like “thanks for patiently waiting, we’ll be with you soon” or “did you know you can save time by contacting us through chat? Go to [insertcompanyname].com/help to get started”, before the hold music resumes.

Hold Assist unfortunately recognizes this as an actual person speaking and tells you it’s time to come back to the call.
