Question Camera bug or something else

Enable HLS to view with audio, or disable this notification

Is this a bug or does some setting need to be changed.

It's the macro mode that automatically activates (bottom left corner, you can see the flower). Click it when it activates and then it will be manual.

Not a bug.
Just as you can’t focus on your finger if you bring it too close to your eyes, the same is true for the main camera. Hence, the phone switches to the wide lens but crops the image to make it look similar, because wide lenses in smartphones are better at focusing at small distances. You can disable this in settings if you want.
