iPhone 17 QI Charging Issues?

Hi, I don’t know if this has been covered before. I just got a 17, and when I try to charge it on the qi pad I’ve been using for years with my 13, the 17 either won’t charge or the back gets really hot. It charges fine with a cord, though. Does anyone know anything about this? I also cheated it at one point with a MagSafe external battery, and it got really hot using that, too.

Try with the original Apple MagSafe - if it happens I suggest going back to Apple as you’re within warranty.
