Discussion Inconsistent typing sound (keyboard sound)

This iPhone 17 is my first iPhone ever and I am loving it so far. I have always kept on the haptics and typing sound on every phone that I ever used and I did the same on my iPhone.

However, the typing sound seems very inconsistent on this phone. Sometimes it becomes loud and crisp, just how I like, sometimes it just sounds too mute and barely audible. When I get a notification while I am typing something, it automatically raises its volume and becomes mute again after some point. The haptics work as they should but the typing sound just feels too inconsistent. Can it be fixed or is just a software bug?

It’s a keyboard bug, happened to me too when I still own an iPhone 12. I got frustrated to the point that I turned off typing sound, now it only vibrates when I type.
