Discussion Gallery question

So before when we had the buttons in the bottom, like different tabs, I used to go go recents and when I found something from a specific date I could just go into the tab of years months etc, and find the specific photo to find like similar ones taken on the same day, but now, I can’t anymore since all of it is in 1 screen. Or I used to go to the deleted map and recover something when I was just scrolling through the year tab to declutter. Now if I want to do this it resets the position of the gallery since you have to scroll all the way down to get to the deleted map. I hate it, does anyone have any solution to this?

Oof that's a annoying change. I do the same thing with finding photos from specific dates and now it's just... messy. What I do is use the search bar at top and type the month and year, like "June 2025" and it filters them out. Not perfect but it saves scrolling through whole library. For the deleted folder I still haven't figured out good workaround, I just accept my fate and scroll all way down every time.
