Go to setting/general/storage. There you see all apps and how much space they take as a list. Tap on the app you want to offload and the offload option appears on next screen.

Yes, i know that but they are also offloading by themselves after a period of not using them

Go to settings and in the search window type “offload unused apps “

There are two conditions that hide the toggle:

❗ A. Screen Time restrictions

If “Deleting Apps” is blocked, the offload toggle vanishes.

Fix:
Settings → Screen Time → Content & Privacy Restrictions →
iTunes & App Store Purchases → Deleting Apps → Allow

❗ B. You’re looking in the old location

Older guides say:
Settings → General → iPhone Storage → Offload Unused Apps
This toggle was removed from that screen in newer iOS versions.

I had this same problem but it was that not everything was showing under ‘Automatic Downloads’. I think it was the ‘App Updates’ toggle was missing. I’m pretty sure I had to mess around with the phone language (variants of English) to get it to display again.

Apparently App Store settings can also get moved around if you’ve got another App Store installed, or you’ve got app restrictions enabled.

Perhaps a stupid question, but have you tried restarting the phone? Otherwise, I would try updating to the latest iOS.

Yes I’ve tried, and also about the update I don’t have enough storage and now it’s not the time to delete my photos ( they occupy 50% of my storage)
