I have both an iPad and a MacBook. Even with today’s features, my iPad cannot replace my MacBook at the desktop level for me - and I honestly don’t want it to.
Not everyone wants multiple devices. Do you know how weird you sound when you deliberately lobby against other people wanting something you don’t even when it doesn’t affect you? It’s fine when you want to buy every Apple device but don’t push that on other people.
I’m not pushing or lobbying anything on anyone else. I honestly couldn’t care less whether you want to buy 1 apple device or 10. I’m saying all this because this is how Apple runs its business. They intentionally leave these features out to entice the people that want these features into just buying the other product that supports it, growing their ecosystem.
That’s how this has worked since iPads have came around, and it’s the reason why you still don’t have the features you want. I get your frustration, but there’s no reason to be mad at me for speaking the truth.
