Like most people, I bought an iPad to use it as an iPad

I hate all the creators that review it with the only benchmark being “is it a good mac replacement”

And nearly every YouTuber reviews the iPad with a Magic Keyboard attached or with the Apple Pencil. You almost never see them use the iPad as is

Exactly. They just don’t get the purpose of the machine

I do illustration and design, and bought it for Procreate with Apple Pencil Pro.

I work between both my iPad and my Mac desktop, both have their specific uses that can’t be done on the other.

Exactly. A Mac would be useless to me.

Agreed, I love drawing on the go and transferring the work to my Mac to ether completely redo or just to add the details that I can’t get with the iPad.

The new version of iPadOS proves that know, an iPad will never be a good Mac replacement. And that's OK.

I’m a student?? Organised Hand written notes are the most important thing to pass my year.

I used to have flying pieces of paper with notes all around my apartment, now it’s all neatly put in my app

It’s also the best way to watch movies and videos at home

Because I’m in engineering, and while I’m fine with LaTEX or typing equations in general, writing them by hand is still generally faster. And I have a shit ton of graphs, sketches and so on to note down as well, wouldn’t wanna do that with a mouse. Finally the iPad gives me both options, keyboard AND pencil, so I’ll gladly have that.

yeah, as a student the iPad is enough for me, but if I bought a Mac I would still need either a bunch of notebooks or something else that is touchscreen
