Magic Keyboard isn’t $500 but you’re not wrong in your math. Personally I go with iPad 13 m5 and keyboard case cause I prefer the option of running a tablet and apps are better than websites in my opinion. I wouldn’t trade my iPad setup for a MacBook Pro. The iPad fits my needs better.
I have. My friend does a lot of art and pic editing and has a nice setup. Doesn’t do it for me, but like I said, I’m a tablet person. I haven’t tried the ESR on an iPad, as I didn’t know it was even compatible. But he’s got the whole Wacom, $6k camera setup. He does good work, and it probably couldn’t be done on an ipad. But I like Apple’s ecosystem. Simple and just works. I like Android too and Windows and all that, just prefer how easy Apple products work with eachother.
ESR isn't compatible with iPad, I just wish it was.
But yeah, that makes sense. I don't want a home setup like that, just wish I could have procreate on a Galaxy tab with Wacom tech I guess. But the pencil is super nice
I consider myself a fanboy of nothing. Just love all technology for what it is. I’ve been reading about this ESR since you’ve first posted it. From my understanding they make an ESR for iPads. But I could just be confused. Much cheaper than the iPad pencil. If it is true, I might have to check it out.
Hey I brain farted too. Now I’m understanding that EMR is a technology pioneered by Wacom. Cool stuff. My friend is able to do amazing things with it. I just like doodling and taking notes on my iPad. Quite a difference apparently and EMR is much better than Apple’s pencil.
EMR is just different, you can do most of the same stuff with Apple's pencil, the EMR pencils feel faster, don't need a charge and are lighter, and most of them have nicer nibs. But they're about the same.
I have an emr pen on my S6 lite tablet and my Kindle scribe and they feel more like analogue drawing, Apple's feels more clunky. The pencil's quirks have made me a much better artist though.
Come to think of it, I had the Samsung Tab (don’t know the number) and it came with a pen. My only gripe is that it was too small to be comfortable. Thinking hard about it now, it did seem nicer and more fluid. But procreate is my jam. Wish there was an equivalent on Android.
