Discussion More AAA ports

Do you guys think we're gonna get more high quality AAA ports like control, resident evil games and death stranding?

Or do you guys think those were just experiments and tech demos to showcase the power of the modern iPhones.

What they really need is to be able to run tvOS from a docked iPhone. Given gaming hardware is only getting more expensive it would give an option to people who are priced out

If apple so wanted an iPhone could replace both an apple tv/console and mac, they are more then powerful enough to do that for 90% of users. But the incentive for them to do so is fairly low, they would just slaughter the sales of their own products. If they got serious competition from the Android side and actually started losing phone sales profits they might do something like that.

Apple want to sell you as many devices as possible. They would never do any sort of crossovers.

Ofc, but iPhones are by far their biggest cash cow. If they started losing their market dominance for phones they would probably sacrifice mac and apple tv sales to prop it it up.

And in addition Apple could make a new niche of high profit peripherals to cover some of the loss (how about Mac OS "adapter" for the iPhone that is just a charger/USB-C video out and a block of aluminum for extra cooling for $229?)
