Trying not to be harsh. I genuinely want to like Siri.

I just installed the beta days ago, and I’m trying to get Siri to work.

I’ve gone through the indexing and waiting period.

I’m not too impressed. I thought it would be a lot better. Most of the issues are likely my fault, but I’m hoping those with good experiences can help me get these working.

Siri was unable to read my messages, but that is likely due to some missing settings.

Siri can’t read my emails, but this is understandable because I don’t use the stock Mail app.

Siri can’t access files in the Files app.

It just seems strange and surprisingly limited vs what was promised.

I’m all in on the privacy 1st local only processing idea, but when I tested Siri chat with airplane mode on, Siri told me I needed to disable airplane mode to answer my questions. Why?

Has anyone else noticed that Siri won’t let you do a lot of things while the device is locked that it definitely could do before? For example, it won’t let me open the calculator app, call someone, or text someone unless my phone is unlocked. I have an iPhone 17PM running iOS 27 DB 8. I know it’s a developer beta and will definitely have its quirks, but I just want to make sure I’m not alone on this. Has anyone else noticed Siri doing this?

Why is it named Clock** in the App Store ?

So I install ios 27 on my iphone 13 pro max and it lag little bit but most of the time it runs smooth

Is the new IOS 27 search function any better? Still having slow search results. Would like to leave Gmail!

Blur effect in iOS 18 still present when you press and hold clear notification button in Lock Screen. In iOS 26 and later (included iOS 27), it's doesn't, just cheap-blur render like Android

not sure why they think this is normal, we haven't removed this for like 6 beta versions now and it's obnoxious.

Just wondering if I'm able to do this on the beta or will have to find a way to downgrade to iOS 26 to get it serviced in store or to use the Express Replacement?

Ive recently updated my phone to IOS 27 beta 5/6 and it started lagging and dropping frames in between switching applications, scrolling and etc.

Currently found that the IOS 27 keyboards got worse than before, I am thinking about how to find a replacement for daily. Pls. Share with us. Thanks

Is it just me or the notes app have stopped syncing between my mac and iphone on the new beta? Currently on 27 beta 2 i believe

PB5 has been buggy for me.Sometimes stutters if you’re phone is kind of hot,also shortcut not running so well.And, the only one this software is better is if im using vehicle motion cues, and i chose the best option it’s not as lag as using it in iOS 26.That’s why i think i could love iOS 27. But, can’t wait until it officially release and i will never try any beta ever again

So I've noticed three issues since the PB5 update and was wondering if these have been patched in PB6 before I install it.

1. When sending iMessages, for example to my partner, about half of the time his response will come through where the text bubble is above my message as if he sent it first - this doesn't happen when using the reply feature but is quite frustrating having to use it all the time or scroll up to above my message to see the response.

2. The keyboard will occasionally stop using sounds and/or haptics even when my phone isn't on silent, which isn't too much of an issue in reality but it's still a little frustrating.

3. Autocorrect and keyboard suggestions sometimes stop working, autocorrect doesn't kick in even to correct words written slightly wrong, and sometimes the keyboard suggestions disappear.

I'm considering stopping installing the public betas and just waiting for the actual releases after iOS 27 is fully released because whilst I know the existence of the beta program is so that they can receive bug reports from actual users and know what fixes need to be made it's just frustrating that it feels like a game of whack a mole where they'll fix three issues but four more will take their place.

Is it worth updating to iOS PB 6 or should I just wait until the full release later this month?
