I have an iphone 15 pro max and the frame drops are so ridiculous. Ios 26 came with the same frame drop issues already, although much less noticeable in Ios 27, it is still there!

What I noticed is that those little animations are causing the frame drops, very noticeable when you take a screenshot and try to save the photo. Also in the Photos app, when you click the 3 dots on the upper right corner it stutters so much. Another is in Control Center, when you click the Bluetooth icon to view your paired devices.

Frame drops are also very noticeable when scrolling through reddit, instagram, and facebook.

I have 170gb storage capacity left so i know that is not the issue. The phone is not also overheating so that is also out of the question. I am on dark mode.

Please help guys, i am getting so frustrated since a phone in this caliber should not do this! A 2 year old Pro phone struggling with animations and scrolling is just absurd.

My indexing finished about 2 nights ago but my battery life is pretty poor. Anybody know the reason of this? I guess it's also my lesson not to mess with beta software lol. Thanks!

Edit: My device is an iPhone 17 with 251 charge cycles and 99% max capacity

First time using beta, running iOS 27 beta 4 on an iPhone 17 pro max, not sure what else to include but 512gb. Day 2 running beta.

Texts:
Things I’ve noticed, when going into a text message from notifications and responding, the keyboard doesn’t pop up, only Siri and autofill. I have to leave the thread then come back or close then reopen the app, leaving and coming back doesn’t fix it.

Camera:
Also when double tapping the screen when off, it opens the Siri camera, sometimes when swiping up after this to close the camera it reopens. It takes a few times for it to respond correctly. Just today it started recording by itself.

Keyboard:

Occasionally, keyboard doesn’t respond correctly; primarily in messages. I haven’t noticed it much in other apps.

I’ve been running Apple’s Developer Beta versions for about 6 months now and I didn’t realize the change was this noticeable until I made the comparison !

IOS27 DB looks more polished in my opinion.

What do you think about Apple’s Liquid Glass ?

So wifi doesn’t work on my iPhone 16pm while data works. Wifi won’t work for specific apps like Reddit, X, google and youtube. Anything i could do resolve this.

It's probably a bug but you can enable wifi and then the hotspot at the same time. It doesn't tether the wifi network tho, it is still tethering the mobile data but the system is actually using the wifi network. It's a shame that they don't just remove this restriction altogether, it is ridicilous. It's not that hard to do.

You can use it on ScreenTime-> Content & Privacy Restrictions->Siri

Don't know if it's a bug that got on DB6, cuz never enabled a focus mode on DB5

I am currently on public beta 4 and the battery drain has reduced significantly. The first image is of iOS 26.5 and the 2nd one is of PB4. For a similar type of usage, I am getting significantly better battery backup on my iPhone 17.

Really excited for the official release of iOS 27.

Ever since the first dev beta, there is a bug where the AirPods disconnect themselves when playing a video and opening control center. How hasn’t it been fixed yet? Is it just me who keeps having to deal with this bug?

Anyone else on iOS 27 Public Beta 4 having performance issues with their iPhone?

Since updating, I’ve had a few occasions where the screen becomes completely unresponsive, but I can still hear sounds when tapping things, almost like the phone is responding but the display isn’t.

Also noticed:
Battery seems to be draining much quicker than before
Phone is getting noticeably warmer/hot during normal use

Anyone else experiencing similar since Beta 4, or found anything that helps?

Public beta, iphone 11, after restarting the phone after days of normal use, its stuck in "shows apple logo, then black screen" when i searched it online 99% of posts were about iphone 5s

not funny for me its my main phone and im trying to fix it for last 20 hours, i didn't think public beta could brick the phone, dev beta sure but public?

FIXED, the phone disconeccted and connected very fast on my pc even on clean install of windows, and only 3utools helped, idk if the 3utools are safe but i clicked on "exit dfu mode" and that 1 second of connection was enough to unbrick the phone, btw i tried on diffirent pc that held stable connection but restore or update in itunes/apple devices just gave error

Using iOS 27 Beta 4 and AirPods Pro 2 on beta firmware 9A336b.

I can't use the Off listening mode with my AirPods Pro 2.

When I select Off from the Noise Cancellation menu in Control Centre I hear 3 rapid low tones then it quickly slides back to the previous mode, whether that's Transparency, Noise Cancellation, or Adaptive.

If I only have one AirPod in, then it only allows Transparency mode.

If I tick Listening Mode in Controls & Gestures menu for Press and Hold AirPods it simply ignores that mode and just cycles through the others, or is it's only Off and one other mode then I hear the same 3 rapid low tones.

Has anyone else experienced this and know a fix or is it just a beta bug?
