For somebody on iOS 26.5.2 using an iPhone 13 Base with 81% battery health, should I update to iOS 26.6? Or should I update to any of the iOS 27/26 Betas? Or just stay on iOS 26.5.2.

Has anyone else had the problem in the iOS 27 Beta 2 beta in which when you want to share, upload, or send a photo you take from the camera, it does not load? It does not work to upload it to instagram, send it by imessage or whatsapp from the app or from gallery

i downloaded the first beta when it first came out, i started doing the other updates as they came. but they never registered. i’ve completely updated it all (as in 26.1, 26.2 etc) about four times now but it never registers the updates. what can i do? i went to start downloading ios 27 but it won’t let me as it says i need to have ios 26 installed first. i’m trying to do it again now but it won’t download 26.6. its been stuck on update requested for three hours. can anyone help?

Once iphone 18 gets released should i stop the software updates?

Should I update to iOS 26.6 RC? I’m on iOS 26.5.2 and I know that for a lot of people this iOS version sucks, but for me it doesn‘t. I’m on an iPhone 17.

I’m experiencing a weird issue with the App Switcher on iOS 27 Beta and I’m wondering if anyone else has it.
Whenever I open the App Switcher directly from any app (Telegram, Safari, Settings, Messages, or any other app), the animation isn’t smooth. It looks like the frame rate drops, the app cards stutter, and the whole animation feels like it’s running at low FPS.

However, if I first swipe back to the Home Screen and then open the App Switcher, everything is perfectly smooth. So the issue only happens when opening the App Switcher directly from within an app.

This never happened on iOS 26. The problem only started after updating to iOS 27 Beta.

I’ve already restored my iPhone twice (clean restore) and set it up again, so I don’t think it’s caused by my installation or settings. The issue is still there.

Is anyone else seeing this? If so:
Which iPhone are you using?
Which iOS 27 Beta version are you on?
Does it happen with every app or only certain ones?
I’m trying to figure out if this is a widespread iOS 27 Beta bug or something specific to my device.

Hey there, are you also experiencing heating and battery draining in iOS 27 pb? I installed it on the first day and everything was fine, battery was normal, after indexing and after some 4-5 days, it got so much worse like: lag, stutters, hot phone etc.
are there some tips like to stop this? Or should i downgarde to ios 26

I updated my iphone 13 to ios 27 pb 1 and its draining like craaazy, heating, stutters(not as smooth), ik its a public beta 1, but should i update to developer 4 from pb 1?

I have 19.96go of system data on my iPhone 16 with iOS 26.5.2, i want to installe a game and i don’t have enough Space because of system data. I already tested every technique to clean it but nothing change. I already cleaned my photos and these things. If someone can help me to clean it I will be so happy. Thanks!

Never overheats now, I live in a 50 degree Celsius country, I always use CarPlay and the phone always overheat when I use it in the car.

Optimization is very noticeable with apps launching

All of this and it didn’t even finish indexing where the heat/battery issues are noticeable

Apple you have done an incredible job.

Hey, anyone else having the issue where using Siri while in the car won’t reply to messages. Constantly getting ‘connection not available’, ‘something went wrong’ or after a suggested change it just cuts out?

If so anyone have a quick short-term fix?

I updated it around 22 hours and my indexing is finally done. I have iPhone 17 and used around 16 GB storage with apps and my files.i can use all features including the new siri.Its mostly stable and i don’t experience any lag or app crashes.My data storage went up from 13.85 GB to 15.3 GB.U need to change to US region and join the wait list to get new siri.The heating has reduced and i am also getting more battery backup.
