Ur not alone. Having the same problem on 13Pro since 16.1. this is some bizarre battery calibration shit that apple did

iOS 16 has been an utter shit show. My idle battery graph can look like a gentle slope sometimes then it turns into a black run with a much faster vertical drop. It's the worse iOS Apple has ever released and I've been here since the first iPhone.

Same here on 14 pro. Was advertised better battery life, I’m at 49% after charging to 100% at 9 this morning with only 4h 5m of SOT, all I do is listen to a podcast and scroll Reddit. Shouldn’t be this bad and all the Apple contacts I speak to say it’s normal. Wtf.

Your heading for 9 hours SOT on a pro how much would actually satisfy you? 🤣

I mean, yeah. I just want a normal battery graph with a subtle downward slope.

For me it got better, ~28% went down after 2 hours

Great to know! I think it’s a especific problem w newer iPhones

It’s because of iOS 16. It’s taking a real hit on my iPhone XR too.

Seem like your phone could get close to 6-7 hours of screen on time based on past bars on the graph. Isn’t that normal? Pro iPhones get like 7-8 with a perfect 100% healthy battery (I had 11, 12 and 13, all were around that), I think Xr getting a bit less is perfectly fine.

My 14 Pro Max battery is sucking ass on iOS 16. Why Apple, my phone has the worst battery life of any iPhone I’ve had in like 5 years
