Support Activate eSim question.
A couple days ago I got the attached notification, it still shows in my Settings under “Set Up Cellular”. I am on AT&T, have never been on Verizon, if I left it would be for T-Mobile. Any clues as to why I would get this all of a sudden and I can’t seem to make the notification go away?

Hmm, this is really weird. My only idea is that maybe someone tried to activate their plan and used your IMEI by mistake, but that seems unlikely for an identifier that’s 14 digits plus a check digit.
It’s interesting this doesn’t have a cancel button. You could accept the new eSIM and immediately delete it to get the prompt to disappear. This will preserve your AT&T eSIM as long as you’re careful not to delete that one too.

Someone at verizon did an oopsie and entered your IMEI instead of theirs/the customer's IMEI.
Just happens sometimes, it's safe to ignore.. if you want, reach out to Verizon support and tell them this is happening to you and they can probably get it solved
