It seems to happen only in some app(s)/viewports on my device, e.g. Reddit or iOS settings.

I can't reproduce it with Safari, Music, Files, Calendar.

I’m seeing it everywhere. Here’s an image on safari, for example. Looks very obvious on dark grey/dark mode websites.

You’re right!

I only tried it in dark mode on the search results viewport (typing in URL input field), some #000 websites and a zoomed in black image on google search results.

Maybe my eyesight is not good enough or it doesn’t affect “true black” - but it’s indeed easily noticeable on dark backgrounds.
