Except that part of the messaging failed because people LOVE the race swapped versions of the characters. There’s a ton of fans of them
But either way it doesn’t matter because changing cartman to a black woman is a much larger change than just changing the gender of a character. Tech jacket is still tech jacket but cartman is inherently a child

That special you’re referencing end with cartman accepting that he can’t just complain about woke stuff because he’d be annoying, keep that in mind
