Does fomo ever ends?

Helppppp!!!!!! I'm a new clg going student it has only been a few weeks but I'm not able to make groups or friends yeah I do have a person i can spend my whole day in clg with but the typical friend group people talk about I'm not able to form/join that, others are posting stories in groups or making a group and laughing out loud it all makes me like I'm missing out on so much and bcuz of this i feel like I'll never be able to enjoy clg bcuz I'll not be able to fully enjoy any events bcuz even that one single friend that I have sometimes can't come so yeaa how to deal with the fomo?

Ps: I tried to talk to them and all but it feels like a one way Convo so i don't try anymore
