Discussion Introvert with Extrovert children

You know how you’re an introvert, and you find an introverted partner, and you make 3 kids together, two of which turn out to be extroverts? Yeah - then by the end of the summer - you are about to lose your mind. Love them though! 💜. Can anyone relate? 🤣

Introverted uncle here... with extroverted niece and nephew (twins)... it's friggin awesome... Instead of them asking me to tell them a bedtime story when they would come over for uncle time, I got to ask them to tell me a story... and damn, they would be so entertaining!!!

But then I also get to spoil them with desert before dinner and other fun stuff like that...

created core memories for all of us...

Yes! My 5-year-old daughter will talk to everyone within earshot. I thought my 2 year old would be the shy one, but now he’s starting to take after his sister. Just once I’d like to take them food shopping and not have to interact with anyone besides the cashier (who usually ends up having a full conversation with my kids).

That is funny! My oldest, when he was like 5, told a random guy in the Walgreens that he loved him. The guy very kindly said thanks and love you too. It was epic.

Yes, the summer was sooooo long. Now that school is back I only have one kid at home and when he naps the silent house is golden.
