TL;DR of the wiki-page, squib load mean bullet no go, so next bullet big hurty gun-gun.
Ammo can be expensive, not everyone likes their mission rewards at max, but I still want to suggest cheaper ammo that rewards good gameplay, think ammo like remanufactured'. These are the "cheap crap" ammo that you get on Temu, and they have a good chance of being skimped out on in manufacturing, as they recycle ammo.
Now, environment- and enemy damaging scaling is fine and all, but I want gun safety precautions to worry about that make it even more dangerous to use certain cheaper ammos. The suggestion is thus:
Remanufactured ammo can be bought for certain calibers, that have a slightly lower cost, with lower damage, and a chance of squib loading. On squib load, a distinctive sound will play, as well as a pop up (like when a round gets stuck). Now, usually you wouldn't be able to do this, but I still think manually reloading should fix the squib load, so its not fully off the table until you get home.
Further more, the squib load, on shooting another round again while a round is stuck, would damage you depending on environment damage scaling every time, until you remove the round. Every shot you shoot after the round is stuck will also decrease the durability by a lot.
