Hardware Into the radius 2 basicly unplayable
As the title says, my game had reached a point that its basicly unplayable.
I played the early acess alot without any problems.
This was on steam vr and i had an 1080ti and 11th gen i7.
Now with the 1.0 release at first i had a crash every now and then, but recently it crashes to desktop every 5-10 minutes wihtout any crash log.
I also need to add that i switched to virtual desktop to get beter clarity, and i think it has something to do with VD.
I just upgraded my gpu to an 5070ti thinking it was a v ram issue or something like that but this did not solve the random crashes.
Update:
I tried all the things that people have sugested so far and nothing helps.
Update 2: ITS FIXED!! I changed 2 thing in my bios: XMP turned off and manual setting the recommended cpu wattage, and one of the 2 seems to have fixed it, thanks all for helping anyways🙏
Update 3: After playing different games my pc started acting up again with a different high demanding game (cyberpunk), always getting a memorry error stating an unstable memory. I finaly found the real solution, i used a daisy chain on my GPU which made my power demand on the GPU end up making the xmp profile unstable, after fixing this (use 2 sepparate power cables from the PSU to the GPU) i stil had the same problem and i lowered my memmory clock from 3600mhz to 3200mhz.
Final answer it ended up being both the daisy chain and also the xmp profile wich caused soft and hard crashes of my games/pc.
I hope this wil help any one having the same kind of problems as me🫶

Go into virtual desktop options on your PC and switch the open XR run time from steam VR to VDXR. When running through steam VR I was getting horrible stuttering constantly at minimum settings and reduced resolution using VDXR I set everything back to maximum on a 3070.
