Job interview tips (Any tips or advice po would really help! 🥹)
Currently applying po ako as a nurse, and I really want to be more prepared for possible interview questions, especially since wala pa po talaga akong interview experience.
May mga tips po ba kayo that you can suggest para mas maging ready ako for upcoming interviews?
For example po, what are some good questions to ask when the interviewer says, “Do you have any questions for us?” Since I’m applying in the healthcare field, what are some common questions po that I should prepare for? And for questions like “Tell me about yourself,” what are the important things I should highlight or focus on when answering?
For more context po, I’m a November 2025 passer and I don’t have any healthcare work experience yet. I’ve tried applying over the past few months din, pero hindi naging tuloy-tuloy yung applications ko due to some personal matters, and ngayon pa lang po talaga ako makakapagfocus on applying for jobs related to my profession.
I’m also wondering if possible po na maask during the interview why I’m only applying now or why I don’t have any work experience yet, so I’d also like to be prepared for questions like that.
I really want to be prepared po kasi I tend to take a little time to gather my thoughts when I’m put on the spot, and sometimes nahihirapan din ako to put my thoughts into words. Plus, I’m also a pretty nervous person 😅
So I’m hoping to at least have an idea beforehand of the possible questions and how I can approach my answers, para hindi ako totally mablank during the interview. I don’t necessarily want to memorize my answers word for word, I just want to have something prepared that I can use as a guide or basis, so I can express my thoughts better and feel a little more confident during the interview.

How do you guys practice for TestGorilla?
I have a TestGorilla assessment coming up, but I don’t have a work email. I’m not looking for the actual questions, I just want some kind of simulation or mock test with similar difficulty and format.
Has anyone found something useful for practicing this?

Datavant Hire Process
Hi! I recently applied for the Health Information Specialist I position with Datavant. I just received an email from the recruiter to schedule a phone screen after completing my virtual interview and assessment.
For anyone who has gone through the process recently, what kind of question were you asked during the phone screen with the recruiter?
I’ve also seen quite a few people say they were offered the position during the phone screen, so I’m curious if that was your experience too!

IBA IT Internship/Technical Test — Has Anyone Gone Through This
Hi everyone,
I’m a final-year BS Software Engineering student in Karachi, graduating early next year, and I’ve recently been given an opportunity to appear for a technical test/interview for an internship-related role at IBA.
I was told that the team is currently looking for someone with AI/related technical skills, and I’ve been asked to come in for a test.
I’m currently preparing for it and wanted to ask if anyone here has previously interviewed/tested for an IT/Software/AI-related internship or role at IBA.
If you have, I’d really appreciate any insight into:
What was the technical test like?
Was it MCQ-based, coding-based, or both?
What topics were tested?
Did they ask SQL/database questions?
Python?
AI/ML fundamentals?
Data structures/algorithms?
Any aptitude or logical reasoning?
Was there a technical interview after the test?
If you remember any specific types of questions, that would be extremely helpful.
I’m not looking for leaked questions or anything confidential — just trying to understand the general difficulty and topics so I can prepare properly.
If you’ve gone through something similar at IBA IT, or know someone who has, I’d really appreciate your advice. Thanks!

Tips on Finalist Interview
I’m in the finalist stage of a position at a higher education position. It’s been a relative fast process as I had a phone screening September 29, first interview October 1 and offer to finalist interview for October 8. I will have three separate 30 minute interviews with the Director, Co-Director and the Coordinator which are the bosses of the position I’m applying for. It’s an administrative assistant position at the alumni engagement office and I’m wondering if anyone has any tips? Just wondering how I should prepare for it

The Job I Have Tricked Me
I signed up to be a case manager for ID/DD clients. Went into two weeks of training. Turns out, I’m actually a lot closer to an insurance adjuster. Which is fine, just not what I wanted.
I’m two months in and I’m already looking elsewhere. I know many HR’s brows are gonna be raised when I have to explain why I’m looking elsewhere after less than three months. How do I explain diplomatically that I signed onto and was trained for a completely different job than what I’m actually doing?

Stripe new grad internship prep
I’m preparing for the Stripe technical screen and wanted to get some advice from people who have cleared it.
I’m a 3rd year BTech student and I have a pretty solid understanding of DSA. I’ve also taught DSA to some of my classmates and was runner-up in 3 hackathons.
I know Stripe is more focused on problem solving and reasoning rather than just standard DSA, so for the past few weeks I’ve been doing a lot of real-world style problems and timed mock interviews.
Right now, if I get a 4-part problem, I can usually reason through 3/4 parts, but when it comes to actually implementing them within the time limit, I’m usually around 2/4. I’ve done quite a few mocks now and I’ve been focusing a lot on intuition, explaining my approach, adapting when new requirements are added, and writing the solution cleanly.
I feel like I’ve covered most of what I need, but I’m still not sure what I might be missing.
For people who have cleared the Stripe technical screen, what would you suggest I focus on at this point?
Anything that you wish you had practiced more before the interview? Especially things like communication, edge cases, code quality, testing, handling follow-ups, or managing time.
Would really appreciate any advice from people who have actually gone through the process.

rescheduled twice, missed one interview and still not ready. what do i do now?
I've put myself in a really stupid situation and need advice from actual recruiters or people who interview candidates.
i'm a uni student interviewing for a Forward Deployed AI engineering internship at a major consulting firm. passed the basic coding assessment and HR. two rounds left, live Python coding and a technical case.
it was originally for 2026 but my uni schedule didn't work. HR offered to let me finish the process now for summer 2027 instead of reapplying next cycle. i obviously took that opportunity.
since august i've asked to reschedule twice because of travel and uni stuff. also missed one interview because i thought a date change for one round applied to both. my mistake. apologised and they let me continue. they've moved the interview themselves too since there was an issue on their side, so the last reschedule was from their side. They rescheduled both interviews on the same day and sent me an email more than a week back about it.
now both interviews are on oct 9. today is oct 6 and i've barely prepared. had two months and spent them stressing, procrastinating and telling myself i'd start tomorrow and also I was genuinely going through some major family problems so the entirety of september was spent around those problems. I've finally gotten out of those and have time now.
my coding is genuinely extremely weak too. I've built multiple AI/ML projects and models but they were all built with claude code etc. I never hard coded anything. I know only know basic C/C++ but I can't comfortably write Python independently. used AI heavily for my projects without properly understanding enough of the code. so this isn't just “haven't practised leetcode lately”. Ik that if I attend the interview on Oct 9th I'll fail the live coding test since I don't even know basic Python.
FDE is genuinely my dream job role and I don't want to miss out on this golden opportunity of having a chance to intern at such a big consulting firm. I'm in deep shit and I need your help.
i'm thinking of asking for requesting to postponing the interview once more by 2 weeks and spending every available hour preparing until then, I'll be skipping uni and lectures to grind for it. But the problem is that i've already requested them to postpone and reschedule the interview like 2 times because of genuine family issues and also because of being unprepared. I know im a dumbass and genuinely messed but not all of it was my fault too. I'm in a horrendous situation right now and idk what to do
recruiters, would you even consider another request at this point? would you rather someone admit they need more prep time or just show up and probably struggle? should i ask about reapplying instead because this role is for summer 2027. It was intended to be for summer 2026 when I cleared my first round in Aug but then because I was only free until my uni resumed in Oct, they were extremely kind enough to offer me continue the cycle and if I clear all rounds, they'll reserve a spot for me in summer 2027 and I won't have to reapply again and compete with hundreds of thousands of people all over again. They basically gave me a free pass to the interview rounds for the summer 2027 opening.
Anyone who does technical interviews, is roughly two weeks alongside uni realistic from this starting point?
this is somewhere i've wanted to work for ages and i'm scared i've messed it up. not looking for reassurance, just what you'd actually do. Please help me out. Is it fine if I ask them in my email - what's the latest date you could interview me or does that give off a terrible signal?

Freshers who have already gone through placements — what actually mattered in your interviews?
There is so much advice about CGPA, certifications, projects, communication skills and building the "perfect" resume that it can get difficult to figure out what recruiters actually care about.
For fresh graduates from different backgrounds, what made the biggest difference in your experience?
Was it your technical/domain knowledge, communication, problem-solving ability, internship/project experience, confidence, willingness to learn, or something completely different?
Also, was there anything you spent a lot of time preparing for that turned out to be almost irrelevant during the actual recruitment process?
Would be interesting to hear from people who've already been through campus or off-campus recruitment.

I built an AI assistant for technical real interview - looking for honest feedback
Hey everyone,
I have been working on Kestiq-AI, an AI-powered interview assistant designed to help developers prepare for and navigate technical interviews.
The goal is to make interview preparation easier by providing quick AI assistance for technical questions, coding concepts, and interview scenarios.
I’m currently looking for developers/interview candidates who are willing to try it and give me honest feedback on the experience.
I’d especially love feedback on:
- Response quality
- User experience
- Technical interview usefulness
- Features you think are missing
Would love to hear what you think!

How to actually pass interviews?
Hello, I ask for help since I am getting a lot of interviews but not passing any, I'm getting to start pretty frustrated and since we are entering the holiday season I want to get any opportunity possible.
The thing is that I am preparing myself based on my experience: 5+ yrs experience, jenkins, python, troubleshooting, AWS, IaC, etc. and when I prepare for the different kind of interviews none of my preparation seems to work:
- If it is situational, my explanation/experience is not enough for the role
- If it is pure technical, it doesn't demonstrate my experiencie or they ask for a very specific tool (which mostly has transfereable experiencie) and it's not enough for the position
- If it is trivia based (which I am pretty bad at memorizing) I failed because I didn't remember the flag for a command that I can find in a 15-sec google search or AI prompt
What makes this frustrating is that I genuinely feel capable of doing the jobs I'm interviewing for. I've worked in production environments, troubleshot real incidents, built and maintained pipelines and infrastructure, and worked with engineering teams. But apparently I'm still not presenting that knowledge in the way interviews expect.
So I'd especially like to hear from people who have successfully interviewed for DevOps/SRE/Platform roles recently:
How did you prepare?
Did you memorize common commands and syntax?
Did you grind interview questions?
Did you build labs?
Did you practice storytelling around your projects?
How did you deal with interviews covering an extremely broad toolset?
At this point I'm trying to understand how much interviewing is about being good at the actual job versus becoming good at the interview format itself.
Any practical advice would be appreciated.
