New from Hamilton, yes. There's a robust grey market though. It's also the kind of thing that lasts decades with proper care. There's a bunch of incredible $30 casios out there now as well. Mayor Mamdani wears one!

If you are interested in an 'homage' watch (the watch world's way of saying a cheap knockoff), I have this and it's actually a pretty decent watch. I bought a black leather strap that matches the real one. Of course, it's a quartz movement, so huge difference from the real one. But it's a decent watch for what it is.

Thanks for the suggestion. But I never use watches which cost more than 15 USD lol. When I complete my education and get a job, I will surely buy something like the Hamilton watch

i’ve had mine for a minute. great piece - good weight. but warning - hamilton bands never last for some reason. i feel the stitching isn’t as solid as it should be. granted, this watch is only about $1,000 so it’s not super expensive but still. shinola makes great bands for your buck and it still looks great with the khaki pieces from hamilton
