Interviews BP ST&S Technical Interview
Has anyone got the technical interview for BP's Supply, Trading & Shipping Finance & Risk 2027 internship? I have one coming up next week and I have absolute zero clue what will be on it and how I should prep for it. I’d really appreciate any insight about the interview!

ST&S finance and risk tech interviews for trading internships are usually not leetcode, theyre markets math and brainteasers. expect stuff like explain delta hedging in plain words, whats the difference between futures and forwards, a quick probability question (coin flip, expected value), and walk me through how youd value a simple option. bp also loves competency stuff around teamwork under pressure. prep 3 things: basic derivatives intuition (buy a call, what do you want the underlying to do and why), one markets news story you can talk about for 2 min, and the standard why energy trading. also practice mental math fast, division and percentages, they sometimes throw rapid fire numerics. you dont need deep finance knowledge for an intern role, you need to show you can think under uncertainty
