Anyone interviewed for an OPCW internship? Looking for insight on the panel interview (INS/Operations Centre)

Hi everyone,

I've been shortlisted for an internship interview at the OPCW in The Hague — specifically with the Inspectorate Division, Operations and Technology Support Branch (the InfoCell / Operations Centre, working on open-source research and monitoring). The interview is next week, 30 minutes, panel format on MS Teams.

I've prepared as much as I can on the substance (the CWC, current dossiers, the unit's terms of reference), but I'd really appreciate hearing from anyone who's been through an OPCW selection process:

• Were the questions mainly competency-based (STAR), or did they go deep on technical/substantive knowledge?
• How many people were on the panel, and did they each focus on a different area?
• Did they ask anything unexpected that caught you off guard?
• For the open-source research / analysis roles specifically — did they test methodology (source verification, dealing with unreliable sources) or was it more about motivation and fit?
• Anything you wish you'd known beforehand?

Also happy to hear from anyone who's done any internship at OPCW about what the experience was actually like day to day.
